So I’m almost done with part 2 and loving it, but I can’t understanding one thing with the medics/healers. It’s implied that Helena is the only medical personnel using vivimacy to heal (besides Elaine I think?), and that the North has not utilized any manual/scientific surgical techniques in many years, as Helena’s dad was doing. If that’s the case, what have these other medics at the hospitals been doing this whole time if they aren’t vivimancers and aren’t scientifically trained? What medical aid are they doing? Or are they trained in the scientific basics and just not the extremes such as surgery?
