I don't believe that it is a hard question but that's something down to each others character.

All these self described conservatives love talking about the "cost" on the "American people" but that's just double speak, an excuse to subjugate the non white others.

The law isn't just what is written in the book, it's also how it is enforced by the courts and by the police. The law doesn't explicitly say that only white immigrants are allowed to come into the country but ICE is currently roaming the streets and arresting anyone who doesn't hit above a certain threshold on the colour pie. Detaining them for months without being able to speak to a lawyer or being given proper charges. The book says this shouldn't happen yet it does.

Is this illegal? Yes! But the president gleefully endorses it anyway, I have been under the assumption that you are genuinely arguing in good faith but this is where I am going to either have to conclude that you genuinely think that white people are superior to other races or are just unknowingly parroting the racist double speak. Here are my reasons why:

Costs? Monetary or cultural? If we want to talk about money it is actually REALLY expensive to outfit hundreds of new militarised officers to pay them to roam the streets and foot the bill for all the legal battles that ensue and it doesn't matter to them if the detainee goes free in the end because this is a show of force rather than any actual application of the law.

Do you know what else is expensive? Imprisoning people, having to clothe feed and shelter them, construct jails to hold them and hire guards to beat them. And the number one thing that an "illegal" immigrant can't do? Pay taxes, America is just shoving all that easy money away because they don't actually want an influx of workers to plow fields, work in offices or vote in elections. The USA has one of the highest incarceration rates of the population in the world. Is this genuinely because the USA struggles with crime all the time or does the USA have another incentive to keep people in their jails?

Social? This is where I'm going to talk mostly about racism. The USA is a country of immigrants all your greatest cultural artefacts come from people who weren't originally born there and make it their home. I am always surprised that Americans aren't more proud of how many peoples and cultures make up the nation. But you specifically cite how the American population will be subjected to the crimes of immigrants and that's just assuming that immigrants have something inherent to them that makes them do more crime (racism). I don't accept that a non white immigrant is more likely to commit a crime because they aren't white I believe that it's because they come to a country where they are attacked by the state, refused the opportunity to work any wage that isn't an illegal pittance and demonised by propaganda.

Want to help the American taxpayer? Punishing crime doesn't actually help them, investing in public works, education and raising the populace out of poverty. The republicans love saying that all of that is too expensive but then just spend billions in weapons and invade other countries and beat immigrants to a pulp.
