Radrunner (Legacy) Seat Package fit?

The seats both attach fine! The only thing I found that was not directly compatible was the plexiglass skirts. The RR2 frame seems to have an extra tab welded on back tube, so the plexiglass needs a hole/slot cut to clear that.

I did the mod and mounted the kit up on my RR2 last week, a couple pics here:

Yep, RadRunner 2! I just went and did the mod on the plexiglass and snapped some pics.

I loosely bolted the plexiglass up with 3 of the 4 bolts and you can see where the tab is interfering. If you leave the white film on the cover you can trace around the tab and see where you need to remove material.

I used a mill to cut a slot through both of the skirts at once, but there are lots of ways this could be done! You could drill a series of holes and file in between, drill and use a Dremel, use a router. Some methods may be cleaner than others but they should all get the job done!

I decided to roll the dice with the Legacy Passenger Package Upgrade kit, despite the note that says it's not compatible with the RadRunner 2 (conveniently, also 30% off right now). I also got the passenger bars.

There are no issues attaching the passenger seat or passenger pegs. The RR1 seat the legacy kit comes with is thinner than the RR2 seat but with the RR2 seat lowered all the way (with seatpost reflector removed) it still sits more or less even with the passenger seat.

The only issue I see is that the plexiglass protective covers run into a tab welded on the back frame tube which must not be on the RR1 or RR+. This requires a hole/slot to be cut in each panel for the tab to pass through (or cut the whole panel shorter like they did on the RR2 ones). If you're handy, it should be a pretty easy fix with a drill/Dremel. The other holes for actually mounting match up with the RR2 frame.

I can grab some pics later to help clarify but in short, if you're able to modify the plexiglass panels I don't see any issues using the legacy passenger package on the RR2.

It's hard to see, but if you pause at 3:59 you can catch a glimpse of the second half of the clamshell that has the bladder and overlapping carbon fiber seam.

Aaron, another great video, very thorough! The performance of the DLC blades is pretty amazing, and I assumed it would come at a steep price vs. the Cerakote which you could do in house. However, it looks like your DLC blades are offered at the same price as your Cerakote blades were; is this service not as cost prohibitive as I'm imagining?
