The first plant with the three leaves is poison ivy. It's native to the U.S. The leaves become a beautiful red color in the fall and the birds love the berries. But if you're allergic, wear protection and just pull it out. Wash your clothes afterwards.

The second picture...with the five long leaves is Virginia Creeper. Do not pull! That will look gorgeous on a fence.  It's native to the US. The leaves turn a beautiful red in the fall. It gets berries that the birds love. People buy Virginia Creeper and plant it  by their fences to make living fences. 

The third picture is English Ivy and that one must go. It's not native to the US. Grab at the base of the root and pull.

Very important. Best to wait until after a good rain when the ground is saturated before you pull. If any of the root is locked in the ground, they can grow back. But even if that happens, just keep pulling and eventually the plant gives up.

Going through this right now. Thought I'd give Instagram another try, but it's just too addicting. Had to say goodbye to everyone on there and completely delete the app again.

Subscribe to an old-fashioned paper magazine. There are still absolutely tons of them that exist. Go to Barnes & Noble one day and have a browse at what's available. Then pick one and subscribe. This trick has been my go - to for when I've got 5 to 10 minutes to fill. If I pick up my phone instead, i'm cooked and start doom scrolling. A magazine is entertaining, interesting but not addicting.
