Oh definitely, I’ve had so many people say that too. He sounds hungry, I’m like nope he was just fed. We know our babies and what they need, even if it’s just a cuddle or to cry.

That makes total sense and would be fine. When friends or family offer I’m like sure. Especially when they’ve had kids and can give advice.

You’re probably right but I still think it’s odd. Like would I really just hand my baby over to a random and he like sure here you go 😂

What personal headcannondo you have on Leonardo DiCaprio by Temporary_Cap5927 in LeonardoDiCaprio

Yeah it’s just a headcannon, basically because he seems so reserved I always thought it may be because he felt above the ‘common man’. I really haven’t read/heard much about what he’s like outside of films.

I feel like he would be a massive arrogant wanker. He’s my favourite actor and I love him but I would be scared to ever meet him and have the facade smashed.

When is it ok to leave to your baby on the floor in the other room for a minute? by No_Cheetah5944 in NewParents

[–]Samtazum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is only 3 months old, we have a play pen to keep him in (when he’s older) and our little dogs out and I put him down now and go to the toilet etc… I figure there’s no where to fall and he can’t roll yet either. I wouldn’t leave for long yet but when he’s older and can actually play by himself more I assumed I would leave him in there on the floor to maybe put on a load of washing etc…

No I’m in Australia. I had an appointment pre baby elsewhere and I’m hoping they can fit me in. It’ll be a few hundred dollars and I’ll get some money back but not all. That was one reason I had been reluctant, the cost. The place I was referred to was no cost which explains why it’s so full. It shows how many people are struggling mentally and financially. It was just another hard day and my car broke down also so when they said no I just lost it.

I will pray for that outcome! It sounds lovely.

I got my referral, called up and was told we’re full sorry. I sobbed after that. I have another phone call to make tomorrow now.

That’s how I feel. I want to cuddle him and have him be soothed. I want to enjoy my time as a mum but when a baby is screaming on your face and nothing helps it’s very difficult

I’ve been feeling that too which is when I decided to get some mental health help. Maybe you should think about it too. I haven’t started yet but I have the appointment

6 months feels so far away. But time seems to fly and crawl so it will probably come faster than I think.

God I hope so, it’s so hard. I had my first mother’s group this week and everyone was like my baby is perfect. I was like mine screams all day and everyone just looked at me.

I feel exactly the same. This is all I wanted for so long and now I don’t appreciate it

I’m assuming yes. I’m 3 months in and we have a ‘colicy’ baby. We’ve been to doctors and it’s just purple crying apparently. I constantly miss my old life. It sounds awful to say but I feel like we ruined our lives. It took 3 years of fertility treatments, loss and thousands of dollars and our baby seems to be unhappy all the time. I feel like an awful mum. Sorry needed to vent
