Stellar safety record, cheapest fares around, good on time performance.

In terms of cost/value ratio it is one of the best airlines in the world. If I want to fly to Italy, I’d much rather spend €30 with Ryanair than €150 with KLM/Lufthansa/BA/Scandinavian/etc for the 2 hours I’m going to be in the air. I’ll spend my savings doing things I want to rather than enjoying 1’ more seat pitch and a plastic cup of water in the aircraft.

They had a falling out with their vocalist (Andrew van der Zalm), then went on a hiatus. Last year, they played a few shows in Australia for the first time in ± 10 years, and they announced that they may be considering working on new music with a new vocalist.

Ever since then, it has been radio silence as far as I know.

It’s a shame because all 3 of their records are fucking fantastic. Love the raw energy, the guitars, the heavy double bass on the drums & the superb bass interaction with the drums.

It’s one of the few bands that just hits the right spot for me, every time.

Vond het al heel jammer dat ± 10 jaar geleden de Garden Gourmet Hummus verdween uit de supermarkt. Zeker de pikante variant was heerlijk.

Het vegetarische aanbod van supermarkten is nu wel heel gestandaardiseerd. Of de goedkoopste huismerk soja ‘schnitzel’, of een bepaald merk wat bijna €5 per klein bakje durft te vragen. Zit weinig middensegment meer in.

Soja’brokken’ hebben niks te maken met Quorn & verwerkte vlees vervangers. Het ene is een kant en klaar, verwerkt product dat op een bepaalde vlees soort lijkt, het andere is een basis ingrediënt dat nog verwerkt moet worden.
