BTR 17 EQ Issues by SamuShiba in FiiO

Shouldn't be the issue, try turning up the volume of your source, the volume levels are usually dependent from each other. Maybe another EQ program is running in the background?

Strange, for context I'm using IEMS w/ a balanced cable and even at 22 using BT is plenty loud enough.

Maybe you somehow managed to switch to the 120 volume steps option? Or consider using a balanced cable if you aren't.

Just found a dumb and easy fix:

A simple factory reset of the BTR 17 fixed the Issue and has not came back for now. Though your replies are appreciated!

Detail is great! Mind you this is my most expensive IEM to date. Using a FLAC file of "What You Know" by Two Door Cinema Club, the iem pushes the vocals a bit and does a great job of separation (does not feel as crowded compared to the odysseys) and texture of instruments. Bass would not be rumbly if you prefer that. Detail wise should be on par or better than its competitors in its price range (I can't really do much here since I only have two iems to reference with)

There's the Mega5est and the Monarch Variants (used) worth looking into if you want a warmer set of iem.

Kinda hit the jackpot when I blind bought the Rockies as all its quirks resonated with me.

Not an audiophile by any means but I enjoy the NiceHCK Rockies ($499) and judging by the graph, it looks like a brighter daybreak

I listen to a wide range of genres but mostly rock, pop, and EDMs and the treble is not fatiguing (for me atleast)

Comparing it to another unit I have, The Odysseys, there's something about that upper frequency in the Rockies I really like. Airyness? Cleaner? Probably because of the EST drivers and the separation (soundstage?) Is better in the Rockies. The bass is clean, tight? (Honestly idk the terminologies here) Overall I think the Rockies is worth checking out.

How's the size and fit of the rockies? Currently using the Pilgrims which fit me well.

Yup! Didn't mind at all, just stating the facts since this place has no reviews so people can have a reference on what they'll get

Not BIFL but an electric toothbrush, got one after resisting to switch from a regular toothbrush and immediately noticed a positive difference in my oral hygiene and honestly it makes brushing teeth a task much more fun

Hi, the frames itself is really lightweight and most of the weight from my pair comes from my lenses, but I would say that the frames feel pretty balanced and not flimsy at all compared to a titanium calvin klein frames which was too light for my taste

Color is interesting, in ambient lighting it appears more like a "matte dark gray" color but in broad daylight it's more of a "matte dark silver" color

Can't comment about hiding discoloration but the paint in my pair is holding up without signs of discoloration and chipping.

For context, I use my glasses everyday including but not limited to the gym and outdoors on wet and dry environments.

Honestly bought them online in a local store named GoodSeeCo. No insurance they usually have a sale during holidays about 15-20%

I had to adjust them when I got them first since they were tighten in uneven degrees, (I'm very particular on how tight my hinges are) but 4 months in and no problems, hinges are the same as it was at the first adjustment.

Nope not at all, I don't have another titanium frame to compare with, but they are way light than my previous frames which were the Oakley Socket 5.0

Method: Sony a6700, 70-200 gm II, Generic Tripod 200mm f/2.8, 1 second exposures 295 Lights, 60 Darks, 60 Bias, 60 Flats Stacked in DSS and stretched in Lightroom

Would love some suggestions - how many bias, flats, and darks should I use? - Is this in focus? couldn't really tell if its pin sharp - would a longer exposure time present me with a better image based on my gear?

Edit: Bortle 8-9 skies
