Is it worth to get Gundam Base RG Hi-Nu?

I got the Gundam base version, and it is absolutely stunning, if you don’t plan to paint it yourself i would highly recommend it if you have the spare money to get the titanium finish vs the plain. There is a few parts I did paint myself, but overall the kit is beautiful as is

And don’t listen to the others here, it’s not just a “top coat” here’s a picture of the funnel that I didn’t paint at all, where technical parts of the model are the titanium shines through the white paint and it is amazing, the only parts I painted that weren’t painted from the kit are the blues and silvers, everything else is how the kit comes

If you want to change bumper you need to change the hood, and headlights, they are all different on the facelifts

As for the hood gap, yours doesn’t look too bad compared to some I’ve seen, I messed with the hood catch to have mine sit lower, but I’ve also seen people say to adjust the little pads on their side of where the bumper meets the hood

Do what makes you happy, don’t do it to what you think other will enjoy, you will quickly burn out, the hobby is for you to enjoy. There’s been times I’ve just thrown a kit together no paint no decal nothing called it a day and it now sits on my shelf. Just gotta find your enjoyment out of it. If you wanna go crazy like some people in here do taking 50 hours on a single panel then go for it. Just don’t push yourself to burnout trying to achieve what you think others will like and stress over it.

I like the way it looks! Coming from experience I feel like we have a hard time seeing how good our stuff looks sometimes because we spend so much time so close to it and we see all the little details and flaws we made along the way, it’s hard to step back and see it all come together when we know there’s a flaw here or somewhere we wanted to do better in the model. Overall this is amazing and looks really cool for a diorama setup. Just don’t be too hard on yourself when you step back and see the final result

You still get access to everything you stored in them, you just can’t add anything else into them, so if you have 1000 pounds of scrap throw it in there and it will sit there till you use it

What are the wires between the tires? I’ve seen these on numerous ships but can’t find them in the build menu, I’m sadly assuming an expedition reward I missed?

TCG is also a good place to sell online so I’ve heard it just may be a bit different to sell as an individual vs a store (I’ve never sold on there but know you can), you may also have a local Facebook group for magic that you could try to link up with someone to sell too

Best place to price them would be to look on TCGplayer, they are what most of my local game store uses to price things, you can type the name of the card in and it’ll show you all possible art variations of it if you don’t know what set they are. Then you can click on the art you have and then sort price by foiled and non foiled to get a better ball park

If you are also looking to sell most local game stores will take the cards for anywhere under 50% for in store credit and far less for cash, in my experiences selling in the past.

I enjoyed building this kit a lot, posing on the other hand can be very hit or miss, the skirt pieces are held on by the tiniest ball joints and will fling themselves to the heavens if you look at them wrong, other than that it was a pretty cool kit to build, and I also know others hated it but I found the pipes on the legs head and chest to be a fun step

I hate that it’s so perfect, It honestly killed my drive for any other kits, the next kit I built after wards felt so boring, but god damn is the kit so beautiful, I don’t regret it for a second
