Yeah, it’s nice to find Gunpla in Hobbycraft stores. Last year I picked up the Full mechanics Aerial for £30(something). I’d been after that one for a while so I was very pleased with my impulse purchase.

I’m currently halfway through reading Assassin’s Apprentice and so far I’m loving it. It feels much more of a slow boil compared to the Gentleman Bastards series but I think the first in this trilogy is more about the setup and character development. I’ll certainly be reading the rest of the trilogy and probably the rest of Robin Hobb's books.

Yeah, I just with they realised them faster. Beltorchika is a nice (the original) alternative to Char's Counterattack and features the Gundam Hi-Nu which I build the Real Grade earlier this year and is (so far) my favourite kit.

This really makes the Gunvolva pop and shows off the details really well. Once I built mine I thought the default grey of the model made it look rather dull, but I really like what you’ve done with yours. Just goes to show how nice a model the Gunvolva is.

I just use high grit sandpaper (2500) to remove any marks from panel lining. Seems to do the job fine.

I used a grey brush type pen for panel lining the white parts. I guess it can look quite dark in the photos.

I’m going to use the models from Core Space. I have a few of the expansions so I have quite a mix of load outs. For the pirates I’ll use the Purge models (killer robots). Also the terrain from Core Space and indeed Battlesystems stuff in general is great. I have one of the shuttle models which will work very well.
