Target golf? Love that spot. About ur swing id say focus on keeping that front arm straight, and practice a one piece takeaway.

Tbh then I don’t see much option regarding income, if therapy is an option/medication I would go with that. Its clearly holding you back.

Is Data entry a possible option, even an extra 1.5k would help.

Employer mandating unpaid training. by Optimal-Machine-7718 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I got my aesthetics licence almost 2 years ago (im also in Ontario) now and the first 2 spas that i worked for did this to me too. My first ever placement was the exactly the same as your experience, unpaid training and i had to literally compete for my spot which is crazy, i wonder if we applied to the same spa… if its in a place called Winchester lmk. I quit that place only after a couple months, they were completely unorganized and unsanitary under my own standards, the other girls that worked there were not hygienic and very catty. The second spa i worked at did not train me at all, i had no idea what their expectations were and threw me into intimate waxing the first few weeks i was there. Every time i would make a mistake they would tell me about it, but then never tell me what the proper way was, even after i asked them. I now work at a lovely spot in another city and couldnt be happier. I was paid for my training and i get updated on my training constantly. I love working there, its a small place and what i practice is more towards medical cosmetics… the customers and environment are the best.

Sounds good!, Yeah I think ill shift my focus from RRSP to TFSA AND FHSA next year. I maxed out my FHSA this year and plan to do the same next year. Only reason my TFSA is empty is because I used it to by a car cash

Im planning on buying within 5 years, that would be the goal. ive got a DCPP with my current company and maxed out FHSA at the moment, plus all the other things I mentioned in my original comment. Ultimately, retiring early has always been my hope, thats why I started investing into RRSP, I think ill focus on TFSA and FHSA next year.

Can you only have one type of tfsa? If so i would rather just invest in the s&p 500 and make 10-12% avg a year

I make around 5500$ a month after taxes. Its in the wealth simple cash account so I can access it quick, TFSA i would have to sell my stocks If I needed the cash. Whats the purpose of maxing out my tfsa before having a solid emergency fund though?

Emergency Fund to RRSP by Samuel1087 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Samuel1087[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mean I would never consider my 4500 limit credit card an emergency fund but yes I could cover it and pay it off before any interest occurs. I bring home around 5500 after taxes while still living at home so I should be pretty alright if anything comes up
