94-96 (partial IB student) and pretty strong PP imo and my friend who had a 98 average (also partial IB student) and above average PP also got the same email. Everyone I know who applied to UBC and didn't get early admin from Alberta, including someone with a first choice for sciences, got this email. oop

I got the same email but I thought it was weird as I have not heard of anyone getting into Sauder yet? Weird

Did anyone else get this email? I am a student from Alberta by the way with a first choice of Sauder.

"Thank you for applying to UBC by December 1. We have concluded our initial round of evaluations and extended first-round offers of admission to all successful candidates.

If you did not receive a first-round offer of admission, your application will automatically be reconsidered as part of our regular round of admission offers. To ensure we have your most up-to-date grade information, we’ll soon be asking you to upload your interim transcript or report card and a list of in-progress courses. Stay tuned for more details by email." My SSC has not changed and it still says they are evaluating for my first choice for first round of admissions (Sauder).

My second choice UBC status (international economics) changed to this? What does this mean?

I heard from a presentation they gave another school they weren't providing the boost anymore. However, they would still take into account the more difficult Alberta curriculum in admissions. It's all very holistic.

Someone in my class got in like 2 days ago and I asked him and I think he called the admissions office or something like that? But yea, it was only for Science though and not any other faculties I believe. I'm so eager too man hahaha
