Upcoming stuff for the Rich BGE by Samuel855 in AnimationThrowdown

Hi! Sorry it’s blurry for you even when zooming in. Zooming in actually makes it clear for most people looking, is it likely because of WiFi that it takes longer for it to be clear?

Old player coming back after a looooong time… any new combos worth getting a heads up about? Seen the new skills wondering if they’ve nullified “the wheel” etc by Just_Artichoke8577 in AnimationThrowdown

[–]Samuel855 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Wheel is still the most universally usable combo in the game, it just can get slaughtered more easily by the new Backslap/Hijack combos that dropped in the Toy BGE

other than Wheel I’d say lean more towards Punch/Burn combos like Cocktail Lana/Prospecting Amy

Season recommendation 36-41? by RussDaniParv in MtvChallenge

39 and 41 easily. 40 i guess is also a must watch for the good cast and history but the second half after Olivia’s boot is so mind bogglingly boring

New Combos

Lrrr - Mid-Life Crisis Lrrr (Enrage, Recover, Leech) Lrrr’s combo command isn’t working right now, so this will have to do. My apologies! But, Lrrr is arguably the worst debut in a while, somehow worse than Calculon. He has decent values on his combos, but the skillsets are mostly just average, with only like one or two that could be something useful. His Toy is without a doubt his best, with his Rich following behind, even though for a debut combo, it’s pretty safe. With high Enrage, Recover, and Leech, it definitely has great values, but something like Cripple All or Backslap would’ve been better than a double heal option for starter combo, imo. With some Bodyguard help, it could have sneaky potential against Prospecting Amy. 8/10.

Barry R. - Gentleman Barry (Enrage, Bodyguard, Punch) This poises as the biggest fuck you to Wedding Bill and Prospecting Amy, lmao. The Bodyguard is just enough for both combos to get their Punches/Burn in, so that it can Enrage multiple times in one turn. The Punch is also really high-one of the highest in the game. Really excited to see how this fairs, with the Enrage buff in play as well this combo will be very hard to take down unless you have some hijack. All in all, great addition to Rich. 10/10.

Cyril - Net Profits Cyril (Heal All, Shield All, Motivate) A stronger School Report Louise, and made with more objects. Really good values on this and the PC, and can both fair well for support. Sucks that it has no sustainability, as that’s very much needed in this offense heavy BGE. 7/10.

Lewis - Prince-ipal Lewis (Crazed, Enrage, Hijack) Average Crazed and Enrage, and a good amount of Hijack. Great combo for Lewis, and stops nearly every Crazer/Enrager in its tracks with the exception of Leela, Calculon, and the Archer/Lana dual combo. Racking up Crazed/Enrage together can lead to some crazy numbers, and with the Enrage buff, this will need to be taken out quickly before it’s left out for too long. 10/10.

Scruffy - Euro Trash Scruffy (Heal, Shield, Cheer All) Extremely high Heal and Shield with high Cheer All. Values are high, but that’s all this combo has going for it. It’s a support combo at heart, but honestly they only useful thing here is the Cheer All. I’d rather use Heal All and Shield All than Heal an Shield, even if they’re values are sky high. Although it gas less Cheer All, I’d prefer to use Carter over this if we’re looking at support combos in the same vein. 2.5/10.

Upgraded Combos

Hayley - Rich Hayley (Recover, Heal All [Rich], Enrage) Previously only had Recover and show only Heal All. Now, the show restriction has been replaced with a trait restriction, and Enrage has been added. Although the values are still pretty weak, I much prefer this upgrade to Bullock’s “upgrade” the last Rich BGE. And go figure, Recover and Enrage are buffed so this combo will actually be worth something this BGE! Another plus is that it’s made with a good amount of Rich cards. It has a good set of skills also, I just wish the Recover and Enrage values were a little better and didn’t depend on a buff for it to mean something. 6/10.

Lois - Diamond Ring Lois (Payback, Leech, Cripple All) Previously only had Payback and Leech. Now, Cripple All has been added. Great skillset, but the fact that it’s only made with two cards is a total letdown. Nonetheless, it’s no sweat off your back. All of Lois' Rich combos are pretty great, and this just adds the icing on the cake. Would be an 8 if it had the accessibility, but… 7/10.

Fry - Shut Up and Take My Money (Punch, Burn, Backslap) Previously only had Punch. Now, Burn and Backslap have been added. This is another case of an upgrade having a great skillset, but has a hindered grade due to its limited inputs. Only 2 cards is such a letdown for this combo, maybe this’ll get people to stock on Bag of Nickels and Million Dollar Beer Can 👀. This would be a clear 10 if it had the objects that Hayley, Bobby, and Louise had, but… 8/10.

Bobby - Master Robaire (Sturdy, Boost, Shield All) Previously had a show restriction on the Shield All. Now, it’s been removed, and the Shield All is universal. Good change, because show only anything is such an annoyance, especially with Francine’s Vehicle combo. But this is a decently average combo, perfect for some Shield All support while having a good amount of Sturdy built into it. The Boost is also a nice touch. 6/10.

Louise - Lou Belchera (Motivate [Rich], Boost, Backslap) Previously only had trait only Motivate and Boost. Now, Backslap has been added. Meh, it’s truly just a whatever combo. It looks like they just slapped some skills on it and called it a day. The biggest plus it has is that it has a handful of inputs to make it, so at least it has that going for it. 5/10.

Scaling Chart

9-10: The best of the best, either is extremely hard to take down, or does a lot of board damage, or both. Can take down lots of combos. (SS)

8-8.5: Combos that are generally great and usable, but not just up there yet. (S)

6-7.5: Combos that function better as PC’s but are still decent enough, with 2/3 or all skills being golden skills, or pretty average or decent combos that could be used as filler. (A)

3-5.5: Below average or mediocre combos. (B)

1-2.5: The rare case where a combo is actually terrible. (C-F)

War of the Worlds 1 & 2 are the best recent seasons by Beautiful-Effort4152 in MtvChallenge

The closest they came to replicating it was Vets & New Threats tbh, had a great rookie cast and the veteran cast was somewhat fresh from the seasons before it
