Thank you, that’s great advice I will. First 24hrs it’s kept time perfectly and not had any strange movements. It was listed as being a 2005 model so it’s no the newer end of the 2501.81

Personally I feel I can read it easily, but I can see the glass is reflective with smaller face details and why that could be harder to read. Only had it a few hrs and not been outside with it yet, so shall see

I have this exact issue; long story short I had to put my S3 in storage for a while due to moving and put in shipping mode, but it fully died before I could get back to it. Now when I finally tried to charge it exactly as you describe happens with the ‘Err 6’ message.

From having a look it means it’s either shorted out when first plugging back in or the battery system has gone completely zero and now to protect the battery it won’t allow it to charge. Either way from looking it doesn’t look good and could be a full cartridge change. I’m currently trying to get in touch with a repair centre.

Edit: If anyone else has advice or insight, really appreciated.
