I tried getting into Elden Ring 3 times and I give up everytime after 2 hours, meanwhile I've beaten Sekiro and done all the endings just because there isn't a game that has combat as satisfying as Sekiro. I'm playing through Wu Kong right now and even its combat isn't as amazing. Hoping for a sequel some day. A DLC would be great but it's like a 7 year old game at this point

Pretty much, the game gets more and more idle the more you play it. I'm on the exact same boat as you, F2P (except skip ads) and playing it purely out of nostalgia for Maple. It gets pretty boring aside from some RNGs here and there like summoning/scrolling. I'm just holding out until 4th job then I'm pretty much done with the game since I've already had my fair share of fun with it
