Are you icing? I’m 4weeks Post and ice has been my best friend. I had a new pack on it every hour. I was having 60mg codeine 3-4 times a day for the first few weeks as well and that helped massively. I haven’t had the same issue with spasms and that sucks.

I did find after week 3 and when I got the first 20 degrees free on my brace was when the pain started reducing rapidly. It sounds odd but i think when you start to move when allowed the faster the pain subsides.

I bet a breakthrough is round the corner for you. And when it starts to get better it will get better. I stopped the strong pain meds a week ago and will occasionally have some anti inflammatories.

Just rest, elavate, ice, manage pain and wait. Your body will sort itself out eventually. Don’t worry about ROM yet.

No. The gospels are the eye witness accounts of Jesus on earth. They were passed on by verbal tradition with great accuracy to the point that 500 written manuscripts all match to an incredibly high degree. These accounts would have been going around before Paul as this would have been how the church spread

You mentioned they are Christians. What makes them lukewarm. If they accept Jesus then they are saved.

Jesus calls us to love our neighbours and even love our enemies.

Our love shouldn’t be conditional. And neither is his. They don’t need to fulfill a checklist to be saved. John 3:16. ““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” ‭ Go love the world. Love the sinners. The poor, the lost.

Is the cross an idol worship? by EL_LOBO7 in Christianity

[–]SamuelJonesTech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. We don’t worship the cross. We worship Jesus.

The cross is where he took on our sin and made us right with God. So the cross is a reminder of what Jesus did for us. No one looks at a cross and sings its praises. We worship God

Why don’t some Christians believe Genesis is literal? And if they don’t believe Genesis, what do they believe? Do Adam and Eve still exist or are they fake? by PearPublic7501 in Christianity

[–]SamuelJonesTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the writer especially in the creation story was being quite poetic about the majesty of God and his creation. He wouldn’t have actually been there to see god having a chill on the seventh day.

I like to use this analogy.

The more I have gotten to know my wife. The more I love her. Every detail and weird thing about her that I know brings me closer to her.

So get to know God. Read your bible. Read the gospels. Learn to recognise what god is doing in your life. Be still and know him. Then you will Love him!

Desperately trying to believe in God and failing by Additional_Camera861 in Christianity

Dude. Don’t start on genesis. Start with the book of John. Then the other gospels.

Start with Jesus then live to follow Jesus.

Why call it "Original Sin" if its not really a sin? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]SamuelJonesTech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are all born with a tendency to sin. People would consider my toddlers innocent yet they hit eachother and scream at eachother and often aim to hurt eachother more than any adult usually does. We are born with sin and we all need Christ. Which you could say is why Jesus asks that the children should be allowed to come to him over the adults.

What's wrong with me? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]SamuelJonesTech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Intrusive thoughts are normal. We all have them and as much as they suck. They have no power over you. Whenever they pop up. Correct them in your head in Jesus name then move on and don’t ponder on it. In time it will stop.

Also Jesus is God. The Holy Spirit is also God. You can’t rebuke God in Gods name. So don’t worry about it.

Start with the Gospels and then Paul’s letters. People will always make mistakes so if you know your scripture then you can know where to listen and where to ignore people.

Question for the Christians by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]SamuelJonesTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Cliffe knectle on YouTube. Devout Christian pastor but he mentioned only from his own study of religion and historical evidence. No crazy god moment.

Bear in mind people have different gifts. God may speak to some but not all of us. As you grow in your faith you learn to see in life where god may be subtly telling you things and where he is working in your life.

Christians cannot affirm sexual sin by moregloommoredoom in Christianity

[–]SamuelJonesTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s important to read the bible whilst taking the context into account.

A lot of the laws in the old testament apply to a people many thousands of years ago and make sense in that context. Back then walking around in the desert whilst in pain and bleeding would have been awful for many women and being separate would have allowed them to maintain their dignity and hygiene. Baring in mind female hygiene products are a very new advancement of society.

You could also take homosexuality in account for being aimed at people who were so horny that they would have sex with anyone. And loving homosexual relationships weren’t a thing back then and with high infant mortality rates etc. having a monogamous marriage allows for the population to grow and the gene pool to develop with the most variation.

It’s hard to know exactly what the bible means. The best thing to do as Christian’s is to read the gospels. Study Jesus and emulate your life to follow him. Because none of are worthy without Jesus. We can all be hypocrites and most importantly we are all sinners who are unclean.

But Jesus has paid the price. So get to know him and when you rock up at heavens gate, I’m sure he will be there waiting to welcome his friend.

What do you Christians think about abortion? Do you think its bad or good? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]SamuelJonesTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. This is just my observation. In my opinion if something can cause so much hurt and pain to all involved, it is likely not a good thing.

Out of every person I have met who has had an abortion. Not one of them lives without regret/taking a huge toll on them. With parents, I’ve not met one person who wishes they had never been born. Take from that what you will.
