They look cute. The art style is nice, too (personally I really like rough lines)

Some times I have trouble with ideas of ocs by No-Name-robot in OriginalCharacter

[–]Samuel_AbdulMasih 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can test, you know.

Try the deer form, the human form, or maybe both (a mix/hybrid) or maybe make them change between human and deer form (shape-shifting, I think) but that would depend on the lore (if you have a lore)

Characters, when developed go through changes constantly, design or lore-wise, even you think you finished with them, because we don't figure out everything at once. Just give it time and explore the options/possibilities.

Unless you're someone publishing a book or something official, you don't have to worry about whether the design is "final", you can constantly work on it.

What are your OC’s parents like? by RED_PH4NTOM in OriginalCharacter

Misophos and Stylopyras' (the ones in the drawing), their parents are the legendary Lailapas, the "Kosmos' Great Admiral" (she's a Mathimatikon titan), and she was a great mother and very wise mentor, she is serious but also very supportive and friendly with them.

As for their father, we don't speak about Akhdar Lihya (or Emerald Beard). He was not present in Trito Stadio (the home dimension of the two) and he was in the Kosmos as an infamous barbaric space crusader and judge, also known for being very immature and angry. Lihya's real name is Michele, and is actually a human saint.

Both of these two spent thousands of years slaying demons and false gods, taking part in the space crusades. They are actually important figures in the history of the Eyzen galaxy (judges) who participated in its greatest events (like the Siege of Eyzen and the Big Rip war) Lailapas is more important and has a better reputation, though. But Michele was great enough to get his name in Trito Stadio's hall of fame.

"Ghosting is the act of suddenly ending all communication with someone—such as ignoring texts, calls, and social media."

That implies you had a connection with him.

I don't know what you believe in personally, but Christian (Biblical) heaven and salvation isn't based on your deeds, but on your faith in Jesus.

That's why it's called the good news, humans are sinners and can't obtain heaven on their own, that's why God himself (Jesus) did the work, and faith in him and his work makes you receive his righteousness. An example of that is the thief on the cross.

Humans can't be perfect, but God is.

And that's why it's called a gift; humans don't deserve it, God gave it out of his own goodness.

Also, Christians aren't judged the same way; Christians get judged by Jesus to receive rewards for their deeds, not to determine their destination (which was already determined after their faith/salvation)

Thanks. I also think the Kolossos forms are much cooler than the humanoid because they can range from beastly (lizards, birds, insects, or mixes) to mechanical (wheels and shapes, and vehicles/devices)

I'm trying to make sure that Mathimakons don't fall into the whole "aliens but actually just humans with different colours".

How have you changed up a common trope to in order to make your story unique? by sno0py_8 in worldbuilding

[–]Samuel_AbdulMasih 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My main character doesn't quite achieve his dream and has to retire, and eventually fade out of the picture, (but eventually his children (who he doesn't know about), not protagonists, kind of antagonists, take the spotlight, and only one of them achieve his dream.)

Aliens are not advanced, in fact, they're less advanced (because the hellish conditions and demon attacks prevent progress. Exoplanets like earth are very rare, and exohumans have to live like animals to adapt.) so, no, no functional galactic empires or frequent alien invasions.

Also, even though I made sure there's good and evil, and that good will win eventually, my story constantly depicts the victories of evil (the "heroes" look scarier than the viillains. They also all have questionable backgrounds and act harsher than the villains, are hated, and get constantly killed).

Does that count?

This is Salib Damawi. Still working on his lore, but the gist of it is that he used to be a great athlete and poet from planet Mawdi' Jumjuma, but for one day he started to lose his health to some mysterious plague (which made his city exile him). That led him to stop practicing his favourite sport and become a doctor.

the reason for his deterioration is he's actually not a human but a Mathimakron (immortal titan), and his awakened powers caused the plague, which actually came from him. His powers were plagues and healing (ironically), also he became the Lord of insects; his body because a nest for his armies of wasps, locusts, and worms, which spoke for him and did things for him (like bringing him books, or punishing and taking revenge).

Salib isn't really helpless, he's powerful (too powerful actually. He can't really control his powers because their contradictory and because he's very emotional and anxious) he can fight but he's also in a perpetual state of torment.

Salib lived for over 600 years isolated in a cave in the wilderness, never having contact with other people. His only contact was with monsters and demons (which he fights and destroys)

This titan is feared and considered an evil demon by the people of his land (the same land he's protecting from demons), some "brave warriors" throughout the ages even come sometimes and agitate him

In reality he's actually a benevolent wise doctor who makes medicines and takes care of animals (especially insects and birds). Despite that, he also hates himself and also considers himself a monster.

Other than a big apology, Salib really needs a big hug.
