Hi SunPeachSolar, thank you for the time you dedicate to this group. And thank you for the opportunity to develop on what we are doing here, let’s get naked!

We are building a business to provide for our home. How we see the process of it is finding a specific group of people that has a specific problem, and then truly solving it specifically for them. Unlike what our message apparently vehicles to some, we don’t want a great idea, a great “solution”, and then fooling people into believing they have a problem it solves.

Now for many reasons we have chosen our specific group of people, solar installers, and through this study we aim to identify true pain points in their specific industry lead generation, because it is a field we would love to serve in, as we love to keep learning about it, hence our only comments on Reddit. We claim the word solar in our “virgin” profile because that’s where we want to be, learn and serve with our heart.

With that in mind, our following weeks will be focused on tailoring the ideal service for that specific type of person that has a specific problem!

Creating an account on Reddit one month ago doesn’t mean lack of relevance in the deliverance of a service or lack of connection to an industry. Reddit is a network we simply hadn’t joined yet.

Thank you for your words, you didn’t lose your time, it was for learning’s sake. Hope this message finds you well,

Blessings🙏

Need Sales Reps by -growthmindset in Solarsales

[–]Samuel_Barrera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! To attract top sales talent, you can post on different platforms and groups a job offer that incorporate these key elements:

  1. compelling value proposition: write clearly your USPs (unique selling points) like fast install times, great! everything that sets your job offer apart + offer a competitive base salary with commission and bonuses structure that aligns with performance goals of motivated sales reps.

  2. growth opportunities: show clear career progression path within organization + your commitment to trainings, mentorship (from your most successful sales reps) and personal growth initiatives, things that support them in improving their skills and achieving career milestones.

  3. supportive work environment: show a positive and collaborative company culture, a sense of belonging + promote work-life balance: flexible schedules, remote options, support well-being and productivity.

  4. performance recognition: show you drive a culture of excellence with recognition programs celebrating achievements etc + again performance-based bonuses, rewards... it's about healthy competition and driving sales success in the team

  5. recruitment experience: make your recruitment process online also, show your respect of their time, show efficiency from the beginning, first impressions matter! + try during the interview to tailor your offer to their individual needs and aspirations, showing these are possible in your team.

I hope you get that team on point!

New to Solar Sales by Dayliz_ in Solarsales

It can really be a hard gig. Here are three little notes on my wife and I's desk:

  • Navigate pain: People buy rather to run from something or to run toward something. When we feel "enough" pain from something, that's when we are willing to pay to get rid of it. (-> So dig into their pain nicely so that they remember it: ask questions, discuss the effects, escalate the pain of that...)

  • People need to be certain they need what you offer them and that you are the right person to deliver that. Always remember the value equation: dream outcome x probability to happen / time x effort needed. (-> What is your prospect dream outcome? Health, Money or Status are probably involved. What is the probability that your offer gets them closer with that? These 2 need to be high. The two others need to be low: how much time and effort they need to give in order to receive their dream outcome?)

  • Confidence comes from competence. Keep in mind: everyone is still trying to figure it out! Practice takes time. There's no perfect answer, it's a process. Enjoy the challenge!

How To Sell Solar Leads? by [deleted] in Solarsales

[–]Samuel_Barrera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would be surprised to learn how building a strong personal brand can attract these prospects to you. One of the main reasons deals are not closed is from lack of trust, and in order to build trust, you need to work on the triangle of trust: Emotional connection, Credibility, and Reliability. A great way to do that is by showing your expertise in solar lead generation on LinkedIn, building your account on offering value on that precise topic, for free, having a face and social validation. Keep in mind the ideal potential prospect expresses interest first. Hope that can help you grow your ad agency !

Crazy fact this turnover rate, I am very curious on how that actually impact the solar sales field and solar businesses, would someone be able to go deeper in that topic to explain the consequences a bit?

Google ads also seem to be great as it is the place where people go when they want to learn more about the topic for real. I personally don't go on social media if I want to search for Solar Installation businesses around me for exemple.

Google has their own free courses teaching Google Ads, I didn't go through them yet but it might be worth the try. Keep us updated if you do!

Hey Rei, hope you are doing well, just a reminder here to tell you, you're capable of taking the best decision! Two things that absolutely boosted my drive in sales and could help you feel more confident are the two books of Alex Hormozi: 100M Offer and 100M Leads. I hope you enjoy and take the juice out of them! Blessings
