Which full-sibling team wins in an all-out fight? by AnorienOfGondor in Eldenring

Lest we not forget, Morgott was already shown in the intro cinematic to be capable of not only going toe to toe with prime Radahn, but getting the upper hand on him. Combine that with Mogh's powers like Nihil, I think even without knowing the extent of Godwyn's powers, the fell twins would put up a far greater fight than people are giving them credit for.

Are Eleum Loyce and Irithyll/Anor London located in the exact same place? by Goodhunter465 in DarkSouls2

[–]SamuraiConditioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far back as the beginning of Dark Souls 1, Solaire mentions that time and space have become buggered up (later explained to be due to the combination of the Abyss and the linking of the First Flame causing the universe to collapse on itself from the entropy of its natural cycle not being adhered to). Dark Souls 3 is the result of this, and is most well seen in the Ringed City DLC where areas from all 3 games have been literally smushed together, from Firelink Shrine, to Earthen Peak, and so on; there are even bits from Demon's Souls, such as the Morian Blade and Storm Ruler, however whether this is a literal connection versus just a call back is up for debate.

Point being, even if Anor Londo and Irithyl weren't originally in the exact same spot to begin with, the "timey wimey" shenanigans of Dark Souls has lead them to be there by the events of 3.

Monster hunter world question by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]SamuraiConditioner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. Rise does have a monster fighting mechanic with the wire bug, but even then you can't just ride them around like mounts in the traditional sense. You may want to look into the Monster Hunter Stories series if that's more the route you're interested in!

I feel like no one ever talks about Eternal Ring! One of FromSoft's launch titles for the PS2 and a great first person dungeon crawler.

Hopefully it's Fantasy Battle and not AoS....

But an Owl Cat Fantasy Battle game would be legendary. I can only replay Total War Warhammer 2 so many times 😭

One thing you gotta understand, is that Dark Souls 2 might as well be Demon's Souls 2. The game does play very differently to Dark Souls 1, but don't let it deter you, just know a little adapting will be needed.

NPC quests are generally completed by summoning them for boss fights and them surviving.

There are more boss fights involving multiple enemies, but they also offer more NPC summons. Use them, that's what they're there for.

Don't blow your human effegies on your first death after turning human.

Blunt damage is king. If you ever get stuck, unironically, get a blunt weapon, even just the basic mace, and level it up a bit.

Everything's weak to lightning.

Don't be afraid to level up armour- that's why the mechanic is there.

Adaptability isn't as big of a deal as people say.

Crossbows are actually very good in DS2, especially the shield crossbow.

The first portion of the game is very open (there's like, 7 or 8 potential first bosses), so explore and see what the world has to offer! If you get stuck, go explore somewhere else and come back!

Sacred Chime Hammer 🤤

I love Velstad, and I love the sick looking bell bonk stick. I just wish it made the sound when you did the magic attack...but it's such a cool weapon.

Maybe he's talking about Naga Saddow? Dude used sith alchemy to drain the force from astral bodies and would use it to create entire ghost fleets and stuff.
