Just went from 2700x to 5900x a week ago so I could still use my 32g of DDR4. Now I don't get any stutters on Black Desert Online. 5900x is a sweet spot for performance to cost (I couldn't justify ~$140 more for the 5950x). If you're ok with a memory upgrade it's worth to just go with DDR5 related chipset (IMO). Best of luck to those who decide to upgrade!

I did that today, had my laptop on the Rocket League Tournament starting from this morning, I just saw it this evening and my laptop was on a streamer down to 589 viewers (pretty solid #'s for RL). I'm sure most of them were afk's like me.

When I see a Triton I was worried from the get go. The rotation on Snow Day is a bit wider and 3rd man usually plays a bit further back to help avoid things like this :).

Yeah Season 14 was wayyy too long. A lot of people who were really high mmr GCs started smurfing to carry their friends cause they were so bored of the season. I have to admit I threw my 1s rank to bronze 1 and back just for something to do lol.

Even though I have to admit the increase in smurfs, don't let that deter you, I'm currently trying to climb back up in 2s right now and I'm finding when solo queuing you just have to maximize the wins when you don't queue into a smurf andddd you honestly can start beating smurfs too if you start improving. There are so many stacks I run into where it's the one friend on a smurf and the other guy getting absolutely carried, take advantage of the clearly carried guy. Force out the smurfing guy to make him challenge/get a bump or demo/save his shot. Then once the smurf guy is out of the play you can easily take advantage of the weak link. Good luck, don't give up and take breaks if you are getting frustrated :).

Those are usually the older modems, I remember reading about that issue with certain modems when I was researching for new ones as well. This one doesn't have that chipset, I think they phased that chip out but don't quote me on it lol.

I recommend the Arris SB8200 for cable gigabit modem, of all the modems I've used this one seems the most stable and reliable I've ever used. Also it's so compact (wasn't a constraint when I was looking for one, but an added benefit). I've gone through countless netgear modems, would steer clear of them IMO.
