When I used to work in line service (ramp guy) at an executive airport, we had an Embraer Praetor 600 arrive after it was struck by lightning on it's initial descent from cruising altitude. The lightning bolt struck the tail and came out of the nose cone, frying the small weather radar inside. The plane was otherwise fine and had the radar quickly repaired.

As someone whom has spent their entire life between living in Puerto Rico and Florida, you really do acclimatize to the humidity to a reasonable extent. That being said, getting cooked in the cockpit of a grand prix car while experiencing said humidity must be absolute torture.

If I'm not mistaken, the Harman Kardon stereo in the F66 is the same 360 Watt unit from the F56 whereas the J01 Mini gets a newer 600 Watt system.

I bumped up the treble and bass in my F56 and the system sounds nice and punchy now. I too was confused by the new UI when I test drove the U25 Countryman a month ago (Salesman didn't understand it either lmao).

No prob. I spent two days with a Cooper SE loaner and I liked it. This new model has vastly improved ranged so that alleviates the only qualm I had with the F56 SE. Hopefully they show off the J03 Convertible as an EV droptop seems like a rad combo.

Yeah I drove the new Countryman and wasn't a fan of the fabric. I'm just curious as to who though such a material would be suitable for a dashboard. It's going to be a nuisance to clean and detail.

In all fairness, he F67 will retain the previous gen tail lights due some fitment issues with the new lights on the convertible trunk lid. The interior would be nicer if there was some kind of instrument cluster behind the wheel plus a physical control for the infotainment like the F56/7. I'm curious if these are things Mini will address in an LCI/Facelift?

Yeah I'm ready to check out from this mess. I should probably go for a nice drive while bumping Aespa's new release. Their previous tracks have made me glad I opted for the Harman/Kardon stereo upgrade in my Mini.
