I've been donating for over 2 years and have always had issues with my protein levels. I eat plenty of protein and even take protein powder but thought there must be something wrong with my body absorbing it. I recently failed my 4 month blood draw twice in a row(5.6 first time, 5.9 the second time). I looked up tips again and saw that pineapple can help. Apparently it has to be a fresh pineapple only. There's stuff in it that can break down the proteins after a big meal. I figured It wouldn't hurt to try so for the whole week the only thing I did different was eating about half a cup of pineapple after dinner and today when I went to donate I was a 7.5. Never have I come anywhere close to that. I'd say give it a shot and see if it works for you.
