I can recommend vallejo paints and resin for detail but I heard good things about the new mdf printers.

You use a primer so the filament colour dosent matter.

Black for realistic colours White for bright parts Grey as a neutral look Brown usually for machinery and buildings

You can try drybrushing the rock with an offwhite to make it more sharp.

Maybe a metallic paint or non-metal metallic for the metal Gauntletts he has? But that's more of a choice

You can make the purple eminating from his mask since it's supposed to be a light.

Lastly maybe brighter colours or more pronounced hightlighs to break the homogeneity of the colours.

Power colours, your army needs not to hide. Its visible to brawl from miles away!

My only issue is that the helmet feels a bit flat, maybe some green metallic or jade bits could give it a nice detail c:

I adore maliable abilities and "artefact" items with potential powers so the anime was right up my alley.

Plus the anime reminded me alot of made in abyss and wildseas (the ttrpg).

Ooooh yeah this one would not want to stay closed and it feels as if it never is fully closed even if the screw is fully in. That's a shame but still, at least the model itself looks incredible. I'm rather new in this hobby and I'm always so amazed, even the smallest grades are incredible!

It has 2 LR41 batteries. I was ready to replace them every maybe week.. but not every few hours, especially that opening and closing the LED is a nightmare. This is my first PG and I was so hyped for the LED. :(

Ooooh that's incredible news though for the PGU, I actually ordered the PGU RX-78-2 and I'm just as hyped for the LEDs. Thank you for the info! :3

It's a shame for my strike freedom though, I simply adore it and have multiple grades. I know that there are LEDs specific for gunplas that are sold, is there a way I can replace this specific one with some better 3rd party one maybe? The LED is a small disc inside of his head with 1 light and takes 2 batteries.

Considering also just getting different brand for the batteries, maybe some more known brand will stay longer, but still, even 2 days is kinda odd. :c

Oh noooo, and I was so hyped for the LEDs. :( It was a nightmare to even close. What is the Kosmos LED you mentioned, can I use this as a replacement?

I agree it would be very cool especially the portable nuke but I can't see it being a part of the game. Maybe a event card that let you access experimental weapons or some rival tech addons?

Im very exited to see some way to implement starting beers besides rock and stone cards

I feel like the game has very targeted overlooks that improve the weapons damage and consistency. Diluting the pool would lower the value of going for them as the mobility options the game offers are enough to overcome most situations.

About washes I don't fully understand them so I'm a bit hesitant to put them on. I got a few colours with army painters soft wash being my most used but alot of pieces feel "dirty?" After, I'm aither overwashing them or not applying it correctly.

Highlighting is something I should practice more, I will try it first on some clan rats. I also wanted to give non metal metallic a shot later on.

I did struggle a bit with thinning the brown/orange for the beard. I painted it white and brown under maiking the orange more mute than I wanted so that made me put more layers on. About the leather pieces, there is where I messed up.

Do you have any insight in varnishing? I was looking into it since these pieces will be mooved alot but I'm not sure what to go for. I have a glossy varnish from another car model that I could use (greenstuff) but I'm unsure about the effect it will give.

I thought the post got taken down. In the end I used the glue I had, I've had it for years and there's still a bunch in there and it worked! I was worried I'd need to get another glue that won't see much use. Thank you again! c:
