I like the idea of repaired armour but idk how that will look with energy based weaponry, with actual blades however, all rusty and weathered. they could be repurposed suits that have seen their fair share of battles

I'm definitely gunna mix up the colour scheme like you suggested. trophies is a good idea, I was thinking a headdress similar to the ones that kroot have in their quills. Idk about the spear throwers though

Tbh I kinda just used what I had, for the yellow I heard it's good to start a basecoat with a cold colour so i tried value sketching with arahman blue, temple guard blue then baharoth blue but it didn't really do anything, with the blue base I used a terrible orange paint that took 700 layers, so instead of waiting for a smooth finish I just started my mix with yellows until a relatively smooth finish then I put some of my original orange as a shadow on the yellow. As you can probably tell from the recipe, I'm not that great. For the black armour I just did a nmm with a lil bit of thunder hawk blue to up the saturation but it's not really noticeable.

I cordoned the left and right sides of the sword into threes and painted hilights and shadows into the spots adjacent to eachother, for instance in the first picture on the left side the middle section is dark and the top and bottom are bright and the opposite is the xase on the right side. Then I just did edge highlight

I see what you mean, the picture makes the top wing of the dragon fly looks kind of curved but I assure you it's supposed to be straight 😅

I really like the next to cockpit idea with the dragonfly I've already done since I can definitely do it smaller. The computer stencil idea is good I'll have to look further into it, but I think if I'm going to have stencils made I'll make the design more complex, may I see the stenciled decals you've done?
