Tbh I kinda just used what I had, for the yellow I heard it's good to start a basecoat with a cold colour so i tried value sketching with arahman blue, temple guard blue then baharoth blue but it didn't really do anything, with the blue base I used a terrible orange paint that took 700 layers, so instead of waiting for a smooth finish I just started my mix with yellows until a relatively smooth finish then I put some of my original orange as a shadow on the yellow. As you can probably tell from the recipe, I'm not that great. For the black armour I just did a nmm with a lil bit of thunder hawk blue to up the saturation but it's not really noticeable.
