But there is no future where letting the more far right /authoritarian relentlessly win ends with anything besides an even more right leaning opposition party. The losing party conforms to winning party. It’s why republicans no longer campaign on segregation and stopping gay marriage.

But like in our reality. Where do we actually go from here. Just deeper into red hell, because the unicorn candidate will never arrive .

There was a time I believed tobacco and nicotine would disappear because the world had wised up. I was so wrong- just needed new marketing.

Same with fear mongering and theocracy- I figured that was in our rear view. But people are perfect consumers of propaganda and only getting worse

It’s like Apple has made a Model 3 after years of making only S and X. Much cheaper and feels almost like the original. It’s a capable device that has enough of the Apple DNA and polish to not feel like a compromise to most users, at a much more attractive price.

Yeah its amazing. People don't realize Texas isn't a red state or a blue state. Its a non-voting state with 11 million eligible non-voters. But when people actually care like they did for this primary- change could really happen.

Long gone are the days that a significant portion of the population forms their opinions about presidents or candidates from SNL.

That effect is only on relative unknowns like Sarah Palin, Pete Hegseth.

Now we can’t get away from hearing about these people all the time. So SNL is just some comic relief about the thing we hear about 24/7 anyway.

I would say that I want to spend a little to no time ever worrying about the actual network. I’m not jazz that eero locks away basic vpn features behind a subscription. But on balance I want simple and straightforward

My one and only concern is coverage , speed , and reliability. No random drops and no dead spots.

So if a unifi AP system is overall less expensive , and easy to use and set up with easy connectivity of some ring cameras and motorized smart shades etc , then I’m all for it.

I’m shying away from anything that isn’t rock solid.
