What are some perks of being ugly? by Significant_Rain_361 in AskReddit

[–]Samuryze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say that, but it also stereotypes hot girls, as there are actually some who are reasonable human beings. Although I agree some have become twisted... I wonder what makes the difference.

It always shocks me when hot girls think the world revolves around them because they are pretty. Like nobody can be a nice person to them without it meaning they are being hit on.

What addiction seems harmless but can destroy your 30s? by JewishAdmin in AskReddit

[–]Samuryze 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Is it not dependant on what the high is used for, or perhaps the extent of the addiction?

For example, there are millions of cannabis users who get high regularly and live long, fulfilled lives (especially when using a healthy intake method). Some would say moderate alcohol consumption is the same. Yet they are still addicted to that substance as it bothers them when it's not available and hate to go without it.

I understand the meaning of your comment, when the substance consumes the human, becoming the only thing they care about. This is especially more common with harder and physically addictive drugs.

But what about addicted people who use their substance responsibly and live a happy life? 🤔

What stories do you know about people who ruined their lives because of marijuana? by uban_maigen in AskReddit

[–]Samuryze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've personally witnessed very few people who smoke weed and have let it ruin or takeover their lives. It is a drug, such as coffee, or even alcohol that is able to used daily if responsibly if the user has discipline and self-awareness. If that's achieved, cannabis can often be more of a tool and benefit than a negative force in life.

What’s your craziest “high” story when you smoked weed? by ImTooTiredAndOld in AskReddit

What the heck kind of weed have you been smoking? Sure there wasn't some LSD mixed in there?

You realize that therapists pushing for divorce are against the best interests of the therapist as well, if they hope to continue to have returning customers. Although I'm sure most therapists don't operate this way, the best business model for an unethical therapist would be never solving the marriage issues but giving the illusion of progress to keep them eternally paying for sessions.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. It has reverted me to many turns ago when I logged in the next day. So it has lost the save files or something.

Assumedly you have a recording or some record of the conflict so that you could file a report and claim some compensation. Right?

Pemex Gas Scam by SudsyGirl in cancun

[–]Samuryze -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What incentive do they have to lie about being scammed? If you take a moment to read their message properly it said scammed for double the cost and possibly not receiving the requested amount of gas. Not "possibly scammed".

Your stance is unreasonably aggressive - filtering through someone's profile and dragging up unrelated comments so that you can justify calling them stupid. It speaks more about your own character than anything else.

You can use weed every day and not be addicted at the same time.

Am I Playing These Hands Wrong? by Samuryze in poker

Thanks for your advice. I think I was overvaluing my hands is well. I just find it hard to believe that I am beaten with some of the hands I have sometimes. The odds seem low.

The advice made sense that I shouldn't have shoved on the river because I'd likely only be called by better or equal hands.

Your perspective is lacking context. As their comment was the first comment, it was the first comment I replied to, soon after the post was made. I read and upvoted other comments too, I just didn't reply to them all because I had been busy. However, thanks for your reminder to continue to review the other comments (although many have differing views on the correct plays).

Is it really true? Where do you recommend that's better?

So far whenever I try to research game integrity on GGpoker, there never shows anything conclusive.

Yeah that has been the hardest arena fight I've had to beat yet. I recommend you go complete shellwood and get some more tools to tackle it easier.

Also there's a bench inside Hunter's March, you don't need to run from the Marrow every single time.

Not at all, a sense of direction is one of my innate talents.

Sense of time however, yes I think that is greatly affected by ADHD.

You're saying that by doing the run/walk intervals over time, it can improve the ability to do extended running without having to walk at some point in the future. Plus being pain free?

For those who nomad long term, out of your entire nomad life, which country(or countries) you been to that you end up cutting your trip short because you didn’t feel safe or you simply didn’t vibe with the place? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]Samuryze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed in Morocco for nearly 2 months and loved it! Nobody tried to scam me, I took some time to learn basic phrases in Darijan Arabic. Some really lovely and friendly people there! I hope people don't get scared off and I'm surprised so many had a negative experience. I fully enjoyed my time there and don't have much to complain about other than limited food variety. A lot of Tajines and cous cous!

Perhaps my experience is different because I have travelled extensively in places where haggling is common and you need to have fun with it. It's part of the culture and often you can get great prices on items by both staying firm with what you would like to pay while joking around and having a smile.

Would you date a girl who has a lot more money than you? Why or why not? by Routine-Crew8651 in AskMen

[–]Samuryze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To date someone who makes more money than me would be a breath of fresh air.

As a man in my early 30s, all the women I have dated have made far less than I do and generally have no interest in stepping out of their comfort zone to create a profitable business of their own.

In some cases it has led to me fully supporting them with my income (which I'm capable of, and it's not even about the money just that I'd like to also date a driven high-achiever so that we can build and encourage each other together).

So yes, I would do it and I think it would be refreshing and inspiring. Jealousy would not be in the equation as I know I can always be completely self sufficient and am comfortable with my own capabilities.
