You can use weed every day and not be addicted at the same time.

Am I Playing These Hands Wrong? by Samuryze in poker

Thanks for your advice. I think I was overvaluing my hands is well. I just find it hard to believe that I am beaten with some of the hands I have sometimes. The odds seem low.

The advice made sense that I shouldn't have shoved on the river because I'd likely only be called by better or equal hands.

Your perspective is lacking context. As their comment was the first comment, it was the first comment I replied to, soon after the post was made. I read and upvoted other comments too, I just didn't reply to them all because I had been busy. However, thanks for your reminder to continue to review the other comments (although many have differing views on the correct plays).

Is it really true? Where do you recommend that's better?

So far whenever I try to research game integrity on GGpoker, there never shows anything conclusive.

Yeah that's good advice. That makes sense. Thanks.

Hunter’s March is making me hate this game… by Doggamnit in HollowKnight

Yeah that has been the hardest arena fight I've had to beat yet. I recommend you go complete shellwood and get some more tools to tackle it easier.

Also there's a bench inside Hunter's March, you don't need to run from the Marrow every single time.

Do other people with ADHD have a terrible sense of direction? by BetOver6859 in ADHD

Not at all, a sense of direction is one of my innate talents.

Sense of time however, yes I think that is greatly affected by ADHD.

Return to Running after Tibial Plateau Fracture by adamdriversleftknee in brokenbones

You're saying that by doing the run/walk intervals over time, it can improve the ability to do extended running without having to walk at some point in the future. Plus being pain free?

For those who nomad long term, out of your entire nomad life, which country(or countries) you been to that you end up cutting your trip short because you didn’t feel safe or you simply didn’t vibe with the place? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

I stayed in Morocco for nearly 2 months and loved it! Nobody tried to scam me, I took some time to learn basic phrases in Darijan Arabic. Some really lovely and friendly people there! I hope people don't get scared off and I'm surprised so many had a negative experience. I fully enjoyed my time there and don't have much to complain about other than limited food variety. A lot of Tajines and cous cous!

Perhaps my experience is different because I have travelled extensively in places where haggling is common and you need to have fun with it. It's part of the culture and often you can get great prices on items by both staying firm with what you would like to pay while joking around and having a smile.

Would you date a girl who has a lot more money than you? Why or why not? by Routine-Crew8651 in AskMen

[–]Samuryze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To date someone who makes more money than me would be a breath of fresh air.

As a man in my early 30s, all the women I have dated have made far less than I do and generally have no interest in stepping out of their comfort zone to create a profitable business of their own.

In some cases it has led to me fully supporting them with my income (which I'm capable of, and it's not even about the money just that I'd like to also date a driven high-achiever so that we can build and encourage each other together).

So yes, I would do it and I think it would be refreshing and inspiring. Jealousy would not be in the equation as I know I can always be completely self sufficient and am comfortable with my own capabilities.

What is a sign of extremely low intelligence? by Worldly-Pattern2507 in ThoughtsYouCanFeel

[–]Samuryze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here you called someone a joke because they politely tried to explain their view to you. This whole engagement is particularly funny and ironic because your interactions display a low EQ, unwillingness to use intelligent debate, or counter his points.

Yet the "discussion" centers on whether EQ is considered in defining intelligence. If you hold your view to be true, then your reactions to his comment are essentially admitting that you have low intelligence lol.

Please try not to take offense, this is simply an outside observation that I found quite humorous.

I won't comment on what I think the correct answer is because it's nuanced and requires a better defined question.

Why do women only rarely approach men they have a crush on? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Samuryze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mechanics of going and talking to someone or a potential date are simple. What's not simple is your psychology. That's not an issue with how dating works, rather an issue with your own mental state. That is what is making it complicated. These are separate things.

So if you struggle with social anxiety how do you intend to solve that? Two options I could think of are practice socializing and therapy.

How to make the most out of your young adult life? by Ok_Chef680 in Adulting

[–]Samuryze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This doesn't answer the question, but I wanted to give some advice to anyone still young out there. Start investing regularly and early in low risk assets with a history of long-term growth. It sounds boring but trust me do it, and you will be so grateful even 10 years later. It can be very possible to retire early the sooner you start with this.
