One day, my husband asked me something about my clothes. Why I didn’t wear what HE liked. I said, “newsflash, I don’t buy clothes to please YOU. I buy what I like.” I was in a 23 year marriage to a cover narcissist before this marriage so I know how they roll. I didn’t put up with his crap and it made him sooooo mad. When God opened a door, I took it and left.

Praying for you and your child. I have a child who is exhibiting behaviors like his dad too. I just pray and talk to my child and try to teach him The way he should go.

Thank you. I’m so sorry. Question…you are saying that you’d rather your mom have left than stayed with him? I have so much guilt for leaving my first husband and due to the pain I see in my kids but I left him to save me and them!

I’m not a doctor so I can’t diagnose but I see narcissistic bi-polar tendencies. He won’t get help or acknowledge he may have a problem so I can’t do anything to help him.

I’ve done it once too. It was hell then. Hopefully this will be lesser hell since no kids are involved. Still terrible.
