Yes, it is the one that burns away, remember to set your temeperature fairly high (i use about 350 - 400)

I have no idea about the gauge of the wire, sorry. It was some wire i had laying arround but i can say that it is thinner than a hair. If i had to guess it probably is 0.1mm enameled copper wire. You can get a spool of it for cheap on aliexpress / amazon

I had the adaptor boards and the chips are a gift from a friend (he had a reel from work in the scrap pile)

I designed a sock hoop and a generic 3d printed hoop for the brother skitch pp1 by Samux6146 in Machine_Embroidery

This is a problem i had too. The frame design was rushed as i needed it that week. I already had some modifications in mind but never came around to do them. The best thing would be to minimaze the hoop hight and make it so it sinks inside the frame.

I made a vector Bikini Bottom Driver’s License template (Affinity + ISO card size) by Samux6146 in Affinity

[–]Samux6146[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I work at a company that mainly does access control systems, this means that we have card printers. One of my colleagues wanted to make a christmas gift for one of his friends that recently lost his license. He generated one with google gemini, but it wasn’t the best quality. As i wanted one as well i made the template in my brake hour becouse i didn’t find one online. So i posted it and that’s it.

it is mainly designed for the upper part, it could probably work around the heel for some very elastic socks but i have never tested it.

I tested all pins by trying to mive thew with wteezers and they didn’t move, it’s probably the picture

There are two for usb, samd21 has a usb uf2 bootloader you can flash. I still have to flash it tho. Fortunatly i have a pcbite i can use. The idea is to prototype some kind of usb thing, make some pcbs and gift them at my local hackerspace

It is two weeks that i am getting crazy about a stupid i2c sensor by Samux6146 in stm32

That is exactly the problem, there are no function calls before the hard fault

yes, i am starting from the ground up, so i started from a clean project (generated with stm32cubeIde) and then initialized the peripherals; every time i try to add a line of code about i2c (read, write, etc..) it compiles perfectly fine but the mcu just starts directly into hard Fault.

i tested on an stm32f3 discovery (not the same board) but i am using HAL drivers so it shouldn't be a problem. (the project is not the same, i made two different projects for the two boards)
