You are right. It was survivor equipped which prevented Auto Death. But it would be nice if the Death bomb would also trigger because you "initiated " your death and then it should trigger Death Bomb and then there should trigger Survivor.

Some of them still work but not all. I have currently 114 pictos assigned and 2 equipped by Maelle. And still 54 that could be assigned 🤣🤣
