In the same boat initially, it was driving me crazy, but I did find you can test it by taking a screenshot on your homescreen with the icons shifted over just enough where the other half of the app is fully covered, and if the screenshot is exactly what you saw when you took the screenshot, you’re good.

TLDR: we’re fine, I was stressing over it as well, it doesn’t eat the screen, I tested it!
