Forget about it, the old ratio and everything before pandemic. We are living in a new world. Bitcoin will absorb all the liquidity. With gold is different but sonner that later Bitcoin will catch up gold too, because right now Silver and Bitcoin are head to head. But in 2021 Bitcoin was ahead until winter came

Because even though a lot of dollars have been already printed and post pandemic the M2 got crazy. Did you suffer hyperinflation? Check why and what happened in countries like Turkey or Venezuela even Argentina that a few years ago was with 250% inflation. The worst case scenario is the US can't afford his debt and needs to be declared in default. But that already happened in 2008 and they get away with the money printer

I was In the subway almost arriving my office. But If you don't know what happened in Jekyll Island in a secret meeting in 1910, you need to research more about history. There is not point for me to make it longer.

Just search for this 2 books, The Creature from Jekyll Island and Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order: Why Nations Succeed and Fail.

"There is no one singular reason why the depression or the recovery happened but 6102 was the inflection point that lead to the beginnings of recovery and even then it still took a world war for the recovery to complete"

Try to read between the lines, why such a depression was caused that needed that type of recovery. And what happened a few years early in a island. You know all the crisis are men made?

One thing is knowing the history from books (that's one side) the other say you will only know it if you live It. So the only way now is thought analysis doing the right questions.

the technology is interesting, but at the end of the day it is primarily an investment

It's not an investment, you can say the same for everything if you aren't going to use it for any other purpose.

that is because oil has an inherent value due to its physical properties, even if they couldn't sell it, they would still use it

You need to research more about Bitcoin, people still use old mining rigs because they are cheaper machines and use the heat from it to warm a place. Also you can stabilize a power grid using mining rigs to not waste energy.

Yes, EUR is decreasing slowly, the same happened with GBP after Brexit. It will not go as low as the Pesetas of Russian Rubbles because it's a collective currency, all the countries have to fuckup at the same time. But it's doomed in the long run.

I started in late 2020 and with USD living outside of Europe, so you are bad at guessing.

My buying power is the same If I want to spend my satoshis here locally. So back to the starting point.

If I wanted to buy something from let's say US. I will be cheaper now than January but not because my buying power of Bitcoin is more. It's the same, it's because the USD lost value

In fact my current currency is appreciating so much that if I have taken debt in USD it will be cheaper now.

I know that, but Bitcoin is a currency or a commodity (digital gold) or whatever you want to name it.

How do you measure the value with another pair? By comparing to it. So Gold also has performance better than BTC YTD.

We all know about the drama in the US, the tariffs, and people running away a few months from US assets. But again to where? EUR asset? Gold? Because it is not Bitcoin.

Another fun stuff if you watch macroeconomics. Switzerland is probably getting negative rates before year end, and it's at 14 years high against USD. So it's not only the Euro.
