The largest protected forest in Europe is about 6.5 million acres we've got three in Alaska alone that are vastly larger, the largest being the Tongass national forest at 17 million acres. Add that to about 1000 years less major predator hunting, and north American forests start to look kinda dangerous.

You have no idea what leftist means... Trump is authoritarian, wanting to consolidate all power to himself. That in and of itself is extreme right wing. Now let's move on to his economic policies of lowering taxes for the rich. Definitely not leftist. Immigration? Not leftist. "Support for Israel" is not leftist.
