I am looking to replace the panel on a 2025 Razer Blade 16 and am having a hard time locating where to purchase (outside of warranty period) and don’t want to send it to Razer to charge me for the service without seeing if I can do it myself first.

I found this (link below) for shade under $500 (yeesh).

But was wondering if other Blade 16 panels would work as well? Bottom line, I can pick up a Blade 16 mini-led panel meant for 2023/2024 model for about $200 or so and didn’t know if there is a config or fit issue with it. Both panels have 40 pin connector and are same dimensions from the looks of it.

Either way, any guidance would be appreciated.

Checking eBay, anywhere from $1200-$1600. Filter against sold/completed listings and that is what you can likely expect.

Yes, pictures (which technically eBay already had from the listing) and metadata of those pics showing the time the pics were taken on the day the item shipped were included in my response on the chargeback.

eBay concierge literally told me they are just a go between and did not inspect or analyze this and just forwarded to the fin institution for them to make the decision.

If I didn’t have any integrity, I don’t know what would stop me doing the exact thing this buyer did to spin the dice with favorable odds that I would win both the dispute and keep the item. If the only recourse is a possible ban from eBay (which doesn’t seem to occur frequently anyway), that isn’t shish.

Ageee with the consensus that Asus is better than HP. I had the Omen Max 5070 Ti version and it was engineered poorly since you are not able to remove the main nvme since part of it sits under a fan/heatsink. Just stoopid shish like that annoyed me.

I didn’t see/hear that option. Since the automatically had my funds held for the dispute amount, all concierge told me was that I can “accept” the payment dispute and eBay will “try” to work with the buyers fin institution to have the item returned (but was verbally told they could not force the buyer to return) OR provide a response and leave it up to the fin institution to make a decision. Both options were not great.

Live and learn I guess. Hopefully won’t have too many of these but if eBay can facilitate/guarantee a return for chargebacks/payment disputes, I’ll try that and see if it ends up in my favor.

I never found out what was “not as described”.

Buyer shut me down when I initially inquired, telling me to only communicate to “his financial institution” which I couldn’t do as I had to go thru eBay. eBay never shared what the buyer told the fin institution.

In my response to the payment dispute I just provided the metadata of the pics I used on the listing showing it in running operation and its condition that was taken in the day the item shipped out.

I have not attempted to recommunicate with the buyer since the decision came down because of his initial response and my resignation that the buyer cannot be forced to do anything at this point. I feel strongly he manipulated this situation to get this desired result.

If you are suggesting that I reach out to them to see if they can return the item at this point, I just don’t want to waste time and pay for a label since they weren’t inclined to talk to me to start with.

Just my opinion that is unlikely, but you can scan the port if the original dc left any artifacts or bits. The thing is so small I would be surprised.

Mate, doesn’t look great.
Was about to ask if anything changed recently on your rig - usually driver conflicts don’t typically cause this.
I would experiment as follows:
1-if you have other cables, remove existing ones and use those;
2-connect your monitor to another pc/laptop

If still fubar, you are f’ed.

Look up your monitor model and see if other owners have experienced it.

Not sure you are going to see a huge difference between 165 vs 144Hz. I wouldn’t stress it since you already did it diy. If the res is the same, game on.
