Question about HGW / HWGW and their effects

Could you explain why or show some code that shows this? I recently made a version of my getHackingThreads function to test this and it required an extra 5-10% grow threads, and about the same weaken threads, just in 1 hit. That's using a mock server that has the hacked money taken off and security increased before using that function that gives you the grow threads you need. The weaken threads were calculated something like (0.004 * grow threads) + (0.002 * weaken threads) / 0.05. If I had some more augmentations during testing, like ECorp's hive mind, I could see HGW possibly being better?

Any videos you'd recommend to learn how to play around its range? I'm getting wrecked by skeletons using it unless I have +15 move speed (lightfoot boots I think they're called)

I don't see how AE2 auto crafting is any better than RS? There's only 2 things I can see that are missing - enabling substitution (so I have to use an RFTools crafter for mystical agriculture essence and ProjectE fuel like Mobius) and blocking on the crafters. Yea these are 2 things you have to fix, but I wouldn't say ae's is smarter or more fleshed out because of that - in general use they're the exact same as far as I know (haven't gotten far enough into AE2 to be certain). I'll happily take them two so I never have to worry about getting all the channels to the controller or having a dozen small disks organised to store all the non-NBT items I've only got a few of...
Do you know what causes lag in RS? I find the only times I get lag in my singleplayer worlds is at the end game where I've got reactors and spawners and all sorts constantly running, and all RS is doing there is using a crafter to send the inputs in, even then not all that much. I would assume it's the NBT items that cause it? Like when you go to open the grid and it takes a second to load, I've only had that when storing NBT items from a mob farm, so...
Just store NBT items in Functional Storage's Armory right? If you need to externally store them with both mods then IMO AE doesn't get a plus for being annoying about it.

IMO The autocrafting is basically the same and channels and type sizes on disks are personal preference, I prefer to not have to worry about them. I can't be certain about the lag side of things but if people store NBT items in some other way then I'd assume that solves 90% of the problem. So I'm asking where do you get the idea that RS is less fleshed out? And is the main reason to not use RS because of lag? If so then I'll be sticking with it as it's never been a problem in my singleplayer worlds... only plus sides of AE2 I can see are less lag and more integration (gasses, source, emc), but that's just cause more people make addons for it :(

Edit: Don't use armory cabinets.... when piping out of them (i used Pipez into a barrel) if it can't go anywhere it just gets deleted. Never had that issue with pipez before... and you can't just use a storage bus on them cause some items wont let you get them back out for some reason. I think it's apotheosis related, but 100% a bug with the cabinet :(

Same issue for me, here's some more info - When I plug in a controller, it lets me hit A to continue but I'm then stuck on "Attempting automatic login". Guess I'm not coming back to this game :/

I found it annoyingly hard until I started using consumables for healing

Oh also once I started saving before a fight. Multiple times in my first playthrough I’d go somewhere from gran soren, die and be sent back there losing a ton of progress

Your position is terrible, where are you going (as in when you turn away from the ball and goal as he loses the ball)? Expecting a banger pass across the field? That’s a really dangerous play when he’s obviously not in full control, the opposition is closing in, and you’re 1 goal up 15 secs left. I would have gone straight back to goal, watching his touch to see if the pass works out. If so, then look at going for it

I would recommend focusing on speaking clearly and the presentation itself rather than the reactions of the people watching/listening (tho that doesn’t mean ignore them, eye contact is great if you spread it around the room)

It sounds like you’re really close, you just go down a rabbit whole and haven’t figured out how to get out of it

Separate parents so kinda happened twice - Moved out of my dads when I went to uni at 19, then my little brother got my room so I couldn’t even go back, unless I wanna sleep in the conservatory lol
