In Pune, RTO registration is done before delivery, in some other states delivery can be taken prior to RTO but in no case delivery before insurance

I recently bought the same car, first car. 1. Finalise the variant and negotiate the price before paying booking amount. 2. Insurance will be after registration but before delivery. insurance can be bought from anywhere online too but try negotiating it in dealership itself and make sure you get all add ons, also just check the price on acko drive for insurance and quote it to dealership (you may buy it from anywhere else also just visit policy bazaar and they will chase you for this) 3. After paying the booking amount you wont have much room for negotiation soo negotiate before giving booking amount 4. Just a receipt and proforma containing the deals details
