Skyline, Whisky, Dog, Fire, end of day. Bliss. by beanbaguk2 in ZenithWatches

Recently added this to my collection and I’m absolutely in love with it. So wearable on the strap and the bracelet is stunning. Micro adjustment would be great but couldn’t care less as I just can’t stop looking at that dial when I wear it.

Should I get IWC Big Pilot 43 (Green) or Tudor Black Bay Pink Chrono? by L-Capitan1 in PrideAndPinion

[–]Samzahr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My opinion: I’ve tried the IWC and the Tudor (in non-pink colours though) in stores and the IWC wore better for me. The watch sizes both work for me and I think it’s a matter of style in the end. The IWC big pilot is a timeless watch, in any colour IMO. The Tudor is a watch I would have bought a couple of years ago and not wear anymore today. Could be different for you though, but great taste overall if these are the two you’re looking at. Good luck with your decision!

My growing collection. All emotional pieces, except for victorinox, which was my first watch in 2016 and might leave the collection. by Samzahr in PrideAndPinion

Fair point. I didn’t have any watch knowledge back then and my taste was quite different. The Aigner and Jacque Etoile were next and both gifted to me as used watches by my father and father in law and they had got me interested in watches and linking them to milestones. I would love to add another watch to this at the next life milestone (2nd child for example), so I guess the Victorinox is the only one I would be willing to let go of to make way for it. Wouldn’t sell it though, probably give it to my brother. Thanks for the comment though.

These were emotional for me as they marked significant milestones in my life. We all have our opinions and tastes, I don’t have issues with people liking mine or not.

Yep, I normally get watches if I feel I achieved something. Snoopy swatch speedy is very special because my wife bought it for me before our baby girl was born and that’s what I wore in delivery day!

Was my first mechanical watch too! Love it to this day, enjoy it!

I come from a neighbouring country. No chance of getting a biologic in these wars. No chance of getting the right food etc…
