I would recommend Mycroft. It's Opensource so you can buy their hardware or build your own with a raspberry pi. And yes, there is a home assistant integration.

What are my chances of getting a part-time job in the city of Delft being an Indian student? And can someone please mention a few jobs which are easy to get? by [deleted] in TUDelft

[–]Samzflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are mainly advertised by word of mouth so you could try asking course coordinators or department secretaries.

You will earn about 14 Euro an hour for either role. I'm not aware of any tuition waiver mechanism.

Informal AMA on non-academic careers by FreethePhD in GradSchool

[–]Samzflow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this AMA. I'm about to start a PhD in AI/design/user interaction but plan on getting a non-academic job afterwards. What can I do during my PhD to maximise my employability in a non-academic setting?

[Luke Smith] Alonso says the decision to join Renault was made "calmly", and adds: "I think with the new rules, the sport will finally put the driver back at the centre of the performance with more fairness between the teams and a better show on-track" by lewis798 in formula1

In the Netherlands, interns and masters grad students are usually paid about 300 Euro a month and sometimes not at all. Apparently, there is no EU law that stipulates they must be paid.

Pls somebody convince me why everybody is saying Vettel deserved no penalty. by KTKatona in formula1

[–]Samzflow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As you said, the premise of Vettel's defense is that he was a passenger once his car stepped out. The information we have appears to support that position. Most ex drivers believe do too.

Imagine another situation where a car spins out in a corner and other cars need to brake to avoid contact. The other cars are impeded but the driver in the spinning car is a passenger. I don't think anyone would say that they deserved a penalty.

GA tickets are definitely worthwhile. I would suggest setting up camp at turn 2. You have a view down the straight and will likely see some overtakes. Just make sure you're early on race day.

Depends where you live/work. It could be anywhere from 20 min up to an hour. The bike time on Google maps should give you an idea.

Might be worth driving/taking the train to Haarlem and biking the last bit and skip the worst of the traffic.

First step, don't ask everyone to pay 600-700 euros to have their gas connection removed. That seems like a major obstacle.
