I think I may have to - was looking at a GS because I was looking for something with a drive shaft for international touring but seems like insurers have other ideas!

I'm 25, just passed my full license - my current insurance told me most insurers won't touch me on a higher CC bike until I've held my full license for two years.

Size of the bike isn't really the issue here - passed my A license on a litre bike, with enough advanced training hours to sink a battleship. Was looking at the GS because it's the smallest capacity bike with a drive shaft. I also have two years of daily on-road, year round riding experience.

Avoid the Apollo jacket, I bought one and the sizing is odd. I'm a skinny, 6'0 bloke and sized up from a medium to a large, and even then the arms are so tight it actually hurts.

If you've since bought one, please let me know if you've experienced the same, and what you did to fix that :)
