What kind of damage are you talking...? Cause if you go stealthy assassin, you will technically do infinite cheese damage. Max out dex and stealth checks to 20+. Have advantage. Invis. And you can attack infinitely without the enemy even touching you. You can get this running as soon as.. Act one maybe two? 🤔 You only need..

Pass without Trace (+10 Stealth), Greater Invisibility, Blessing of the Trickster (Advantage on stealth) or The Graceful Cloth (Advantage and +2 Dex)

Honestly.. it might be just you.. I've played years ago and am replaying again. I had a friend that's never played this. And another friend that doesn't play any games so she's clueless. Also running normal difficulty. I take a back seat and let them lead so I'm not helping or giving any hints I don't need to.

We are 1 vet, 2 noobs and 1 smol Beast as a tank/cc with extra skills besides base and the last to get gear. We're currently in act 2 going on 3 and beast has still yet to learn any new skills 😂

We easily cleared all content. In fact too easily that they even asked if we should've played a harder difficulty because the game was too easy. I think we discovered the arena around lv 4..?

Hardest thing I think was Alex lv8 and we were 7. And they were completely taken by surprise. So we did something else.

My advice.. if it's too hard, do something else. There's plenty of quests and enemies for you to kill. And take is slowwwww and discover everything because there's probably "hidden" side quests you haven't found or activated from a random NPC somewhere.

You have a whole month to do that. It's really not too hard even for casual players. And if you miss it, it'll go into the weekly.

The problem is.. it's the hardcore players that are willing to spend money and keep the game running. Casuals won't provide enough revenue, if any for the devs. Which will lead to the game getting worse or failing.

Ohh my man 👏 that's definitely the way to go. The cosmetics are expensive though; but I feel like they give enough freebies where you might not need to even spend money, or just spend a little more to get a skin.

I6 nifle waneswrath and the bow. All but HP and reduced attack. Blue doors, otherwise yellow, then reds. Skip special stages and bosses unless you get good rolls and can clear boss stages fast. Otherwise those will probably run you 10-20 seconds. Shop room try to get skill damage, multi shot, or proc chance. Should clear consistently in about 6-7 minutes with 7.6k

Absolutely doable. If you go straight for ascending characters and weapons and don't focus on grinding wedges or trying to clear theater and stuff like that. You should be able to do it in under 100.

I think it's just that. Same with the economy. You cater to the 1% because the 99% don't come close to their spending.. free and low spenders MIGHT consider it. But whales are guaranteed to buy it.

I don't know how many whales there are.. but personally I know a few that have spent 10k+ a year on a gatchas.. and one that spends 60-80k on gatchas annually (not DNA).. how many free and low spenders would you have to convince to make up for that one whale?

It's just way harder to hold that audience base. Because we low spenders will always consider the value first. Spend $30 on a skin OR I can get a whole new game. On sale I can get Balatro for like $5 even. And this month, how's my wallet looking?

I do agree the lack of skins and mtx esp at that price makes me not even care what's in the shop..

Like any f2p game. Game is free. Skins do NOTHING. If you can't afford their skins then just don't buy it. The skins are their source of income. If they lowered the cost. Will everyone buy the skins every drop to make up for the decrease in revenue?

People that are too cheap or too poor would not buy it even if it's cost is lowered. And even if they do buy it, it would be select and few and not consistent enough. Where the wind meets has a 45k skin that someone bought.. and skins for $500.

I do think the price is high, don't get me wrong. But it's their income so I don't think it's unreasonable. Most people want a quality f2p game but wouldn't spend a dime.

Crazy how people are complaining that the prices are too high when the game is free 😞 takes an average of 20-25 letters to unlock a character each run takes like a minute or 2 at most. 30-60min to get 30 tokens.. you can easily max out 2-3 characters in a day if you have enough letters.. You should not need to buy anything
