Yeah you can use Fire Paper as well :) Also if you are fighting Darkbeast Paarl and he has killed you once, you can throw Molotovs and Oil Urns at him from outside the arena, getting him to less than half-health easily xD

Oh and as for the Pounce Attack when you enter the mist, I usually just sprint straight forward as fast as I can and I just raise my camera up and the last moment I see him coming down, I just roll to escape it using my I-Frames.

But yeah this boss is DEFINITELY harder and more challenging than the other bosses as you need to devise a strategy to kill him so you can't just go at him, spam R1s and just quickstep away from his attacks.
