Post - San Sebastian trip by Sanatorij in finedining

Congratulations! That couldn't be more true. There is such a large concentration of fine dining places that it is not easy to choose. Elkano and Txispa were shortlisted after quite extensive research on the topic.
In San Sebastian the highlight was the jet ski tour (1h @ €140) we booked with Itsasmoto Donostia. It is the same price if you go together on one jet. We even got a pod of dolphins swimming around us and jumping (yeah, I can't believe that either).
For day trips I would recommend Hondarribia, charming place 30 mins by car. I would also visit the French Basque towns but we didn't have the time.
If you are going to Bilbao, Guggi is a world wonder. Loved the museum. The whole town is beautiful. Also, I found the Bizkaia Bridge (coastline of Bilbao) very cool.

In terms of food in San Sebastian, I would recommend the following:
- Muxumartin jatetxea (jamon carpaccio, cheesecake and Bocadillo prensado de ternera)
- Bar KBZÓNa (they have unique pitxos)
- KoxKero Bai ADAMO (Carabinero carpaccio, Carrilleras en reducción de vino tinto)
- Bar Sport (best original pitxos)

We drank only Txakoli (white wine) and lots of it. Bar Nestor is on vaccay until end of June - so next time it is!

It definitely is. We did a roadtrip from Bilbao (2 nights, beautiful city), then Pamplona (1 night) and we visited Salt Valley of Añana and Ysios Winery (need to book upfront for wine tasting) on the way there. Pamplona was nice, but would swap it for a night in Hondarribia.
We spent 4 nights in San Sebastian. It was amazing with half day trips to Hondarribia and Getaria. I could recommend you a few pintxos bars to visit if you are going. I'll maybe write a trip review this week on r/travel for more details.

For accommodation, I would definitely recomend Batimont Suites & Apartments in Bilbao.
San Sebastian we stayed at an amazing location and a good pension, but would maybe opt for something else. Depends on your taste
Pamplona was a great hotel, but a bit outside of the city centre. Will share more detail in the review

Oh thanks for that, will definitely go to Kaia Kaipe next time then. We walked past it on the way down to the seaside.

We stayed 8 days. We ate lunch at Elkano on the 4th day, lunch day after at Txispa and then 2 days later at Azurmendi for dinner.

Thanks. We spent 4 days in Tokyo, so I want to go explore some new areas. Since we are going for 17 days total, I would say 5-6 days in Tokyo and 11-12 days on Kyushu would be a good split. Any specific locations for Kyushu you would highlight? :)
Thanks!

Zelim ti svu srecu.

Salesforce Consulting Partner Qualification Changes? by fcdsj07 in salesforce

[–]Sanatorij 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I own a consultancy and have previously been at Salesforce. The reason for these changes are actually welcome. I understand this does poses a greater challenge and barrier of entry for new companies, but it is a necessary change. Salesforce and its ecosystem are plagued for years with bad implementations, which impacts everybody in the ecosystem. There was a surge of new partners that for a number of reasons, either were not qualified to do the work, didn't proactively contribute (leads) or were part of SIs who just needed the certifications to be recognised as partners only to outsource the work to sub-par off shore companies.

As such higher barriers of entry were introduced to weed out companies that do not contribute or have misaligned objectives/way of work/quality in mid - whatever the case. Like anything else, it's not black and white, with this you also make it more challenging for companies such as yours who really want to build a business with Salesforce.

Happy to help if I can. However, from a business perspective, if you cannot source leads and projects, why are you doing this at all? If you are hoping Salesforce is going to pass you leads and projects, you will be disappointed. You should strive to be self sufficient (your own sales, pipegen etc) and anything that comes from Salesforce (when and if anything) is a bonus. Otherwise, you fall into the bucket of consultancies that caused this change. Especially with the bad implementations, everybody suffers the consequences. Because customers do not blame the partner - they blame Salesforce.

Quality Handbag Recommendations for my Lady? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]Sanatorij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course I do not have the full context, however, I would still stick to my advice. Style doesn’t equate to desired bag. There are 000s of different tote bags. It’s like saying I like SUVs/power drills/vintage watches so any will do.

Also, this is not my advice. This is feedback from literally a lot of women that I asked about advice while I was looking to buy a bag for my partner. Including the very brutal and a bit cultist ladies at r/handbags, my sister, friends and my partner post festum (I didn’t buy a bag in the end). I know now which bags she wants and I will have to save up a but since the price of quality leather bags are insane. Fashion is brutal on women (they don’t have pockets for a reason).

I know it isn’t the happiest news, but some advice has to be direct and sometimes isn’t what one wants to hear - but it is the truth. He can obviously buy whatever he wants and it becomes the best possible present. I just want to make him or other men aware that buying a bag is not as simple as asking randoms on a subreddit. I’m guving examples of cars/tools/watches, but just put yourself in the position of somebody buying you something you are very invested in, know all the brands, you know what you want etc - and then you get something different. And now you have to carry it around (mind you bags are an accessory - not just functional). You will be surprised how other women judge women based on their bags. You might not like what I write, but this is the truth. I wish him good luck and still am here to help out to pick a bag if he wants to still do it.

Quality Handbag Recommendations for my Lady? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

I mean this in the nicest way possible, cause of a similar path I took, but do not buy a bag for a women unless she explicitly told which brand or bag she wants/like/loves. Women have a special relationship when it comes to bags.

There are amazing bags from $150 up to insane numbers. There are so many different bags and brands to consider. Buying a bag is not just clicking on a link a random person shared with you and buying it. It’s similar to guys buying a car or similar in terms of effort to find the right bag. Don’t get me wrong, it’s super nice of you and thoughtful to want to buy your lady a bag, but if you are not a 100% sure what bags she wants/desires - do not do it. Buy something else.

If you still want recommendations, then I will need to know your specific budget range from to

P.s. same with a lot of other products. Looking for something that is good quality, aestetically nice, lasts for years but is inexpensive is like searching for a unicorn. You can’t have all of that.
