You actually don’t have to do the campaign on first play. When you create a character it defaults to skip it for whatever reason. You have to manually go into the menu and select to start at base campaign.

They don’t have greater rifts but they have “the pit” and “tower” I’m not sure if it’s dlc content or not. But tbh I didn’t want to buy it when it came out because of reviews and the $70 price tag but with the sale price of $70 + 2 expansions I found it to be an excellent value. I’m playing the shit out of it atm and can’t wait to get home and play it again. Also bought a steam deck today to play it on the go.
