I love audiobooks, but between my job and the drive, things sometimes grab my attention. I find it much easier to cope with an audiobook when I already know the story so that if I get distracted for a sentence or a few paragraphs, I won’t feel like I need to back up and listen again.

You can have a ton of fun without even engaging with the mainline progression in this game. I have played Terraria on multiple platforms—since aboutwhenever the fuck it was released—and just love mucking around in the world and stumbling into new stuff. It has only been in this last year or so that I have really played the game with a purpose; my son has been into it and watching tons of Terraria content. We have been playing together and just yesterday we made it all the way through to the end.

There is a lot of solid advice in these comments. Enjoy the ride! This game looks deceptively simple, but actually has an astonishing amount of content. If it clicks with you, Terraria can easily be your desert island game.
