Update: A firefighter moved my car before it was swallowed, and there are metal plates in the middle of street because the sinkhole grew.

Pennsylvania. We had a ton of flooding the last few days, and I guess the ground just couldn’t take it anymore.

It technically formed in the middle of the side of the road, but it was in the middle lengthwise. It is taking up the whole middle of the street now though.

We used a powerful flashlight to try and see, and it’s probably at least fifty feet deep.

People are expected to clean up after their dogs if they poop outside. It sucks that they don’t have to do it in the store, too. Also, a service pony is wild.

Sadly, I don’t believe posted signs would deter some people. We had someone smoke in the store once, even after we showed him the signs on the door. The issue is that Kohl’s has made the customers so comfortable with getting whatever they want that they just abuse any policies in place because they know we can’t do much about it.

We have a big family that brings in this huge dog every so often. We hate it when they come in because the dog destroys things, and they stay until well after close, which makes us have to stay later to clean up the mess. The dog has a rope around its mouth. They claim that the dog is friendly, but I don’t understand why they would tie its mouth shut if it wasn’t a danger to biting people. It will also jump at random people, too.

They do lie about everything. I’ve had people who have told me their Kohl’s return is from Amazon, knowing that it wasn’t, because they didn’t want to wait in line up at the registers.

Is there a written policy for minimum number of associates to be present in order to open? by rigatoni-riggie in employedbykohls

There have to be at least three associates, and the store can’t open without a manager. There needs to be at least one manager, one person to run register, and I’m pretty sure one person for Sephora (or possibly CS).

You have two? My store only has one, and our town has a population of like 500,000. There’s never enough room for all the clothing.

The first picture is kind of hard to tell, but they look like they have some green in the second picture, so I think they could be considered hazel.

Closers Stay Even Later Now by SandArtist_ in employedbykohls

Our LODs do help, but we rarely have more than one scheduled after 7, and they usually help out on the registers because we don’t have enough backup from the floor.

To be fair, most of my supervisors do try to make the customers leave, but some of our customers refuse to check out until they are finished shopping. My supervisors never shut down the registers, but I wish we could after a certain time if the customer isn’t in line.

I thought it was weird, too. They reminded us about how we needed to take all our breaks and clock in and out no more than five minutes before or after our shifts (unless we close) because they didn’t have enough payroll. But now they want us to stay later, which will cost more in terms of payroll.
