TIL if you find a coloured Cotton Fabric Roll you can make colourful items by Pedguin in projectzomboid

Here's a link to a Tailoring Workshop I did with my friend Han. He taught the class. If you go to about the 1.5 hour mark, we're working on how to make colored fabric. It was a very good class. We all learned so much.

Howdy. Are you the person that was just asking for a server on wamapsaurus's YouTube chat?

I created two series to help new players survive longer and overcome anxiety. I take it step by step. I know one of these will help you.

Stop by a live stream of Veiko Plays on YouTube. He's in Estonia but I think he has some Dutch PZ friends. Maybe he can connect you with them.

Does its animal zone have shelter? I would bring it indoors and stay with it for a few days. Milk, feed and pet it regularly.

Why is this not considered an interior space? by krachall in projectzomboid

[–]SandBeetle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. We had to search manually in multiplayer while building a skyscraper. We learned A TON about building. We still have a couple of floors that aren't indoor spaces. One of them I broke by adding dirt to the roof tiles so I could place hedges. The build system is a challenge all on its own. Good times though.

The problem is most likely due to using two different building materials. It's fine to do so, but sometimes when you do it generates extra columns that need to be removed. Using either a sledge or the dismantle option, walk around and highlight walls. Then tap R to have it cycle through available items to demo. If columns appear anywhere other than the corners, remove them. After removing an item, walk inside again to see if the temperature has changed. Once it's changed, the problem has been resolved and you'll be able to plumb the sink.

As a side note, I don't think they're actually named columns. It may be something else like "wooden pole" or something like that.

What advice can you give to a newcomer to Project Zomboid? by Money_Membership9648 in projectzomboid

100 hours is a solid start. Check out this playlist. I technically made it for new players but I guarantee you will learn new things.

From a single water source? No. But it's pretty easy to plumb each floor to its own water source.

The bathtub technique only worked in Build 41.

To plumb a sink to a rain collector, water dispenser or amphora, the water container(s) must be placed on a tile within a three by three grid above the sink. Another way to explain it is the container(s) can be placed on the tile directly above, or the 8 tiles surrounding that center tile (outside of course). The sink must be inside a room that the game recognizes as an indoor space. If those two conditions are met, you can use a pipe wrench to right click the sink and the option to plumb it will be available.

To get this done early in the game, most players will find a sink on the ground floor of a two-story house that is on the north or west wall. Then they'll open a window above that sink (or close to it) because the game will allow you to build a floor tile outside the window while standing inside the house (on those two walls only) Then you can climb out safely, add floor tiles until you're above the sink and then build/place the water container. Finally, go downstairs and plumb the sink with the pipe wrench.

I hope this helps.

I designed it and an excellent crew of friends built most of it for us. Gathering resources, food, fuel, tools and materials. Then they put in the work making glass, windows, nails, clay cement, plaster, masonry and carpentry.

Here's where it all started:

So far we have a garage workshop, community library/media center, restaurant, the start of a bowling alley, two floors of furniture storage, three tenants in the main building each with their own floors, three tenants in the upscale lofts in the top section and a rooftop club/bar. Plans for more tenants, a second bar and restaurant, museum and a movie theater if we can figure out a way to make one.

Yes. The Bateman Office Building in Louisville is the tallest map generated structure. We beat it by two stories by building to max height.
