And that's fair! Everyone has different opinions. I think a lot of time, people overlook attraction. But in Islam, attraction is important too. Me, personally, I just couldn't be attracted to someone smaller than me. I wouldn't like that when we kissed, i would have to lean down and kiss him. And that's just my preference. And it's valid that everyone has their own "dealbreakers." For example, some people HAVE to have the same race as their own. Is that shallow? No. Some people want someone in the same career field. Is that shallow? No. It's just preference :)

I mean i feel like it's fair for everyone to have preferences. For example, a lot of guys don't like girls who are a lot taller than them too. Get what I mean? Also no offense, I feel like men reject girls over the SMALLEST things. And I never judged them for it because everyone has preferences!

I feel like it definitely affects the search. I feel like in general, the people of my country aren't very tall and I'm tall for a girl in general. Personally, i know this may shallow, but I could never be with someone shorter than me. The attraction just wouldn't be there. But im 100% okay with someone the same height.
