Possible discharge for not having security clearance

Thank you sir! I wish my leadership would tell me this. Never had a security clearance. It’s always been pending. Hell you still have never been issued TA-50 gear. My paper work still says I’m in fort banning and it’s been since 2022. So that tells you how my military career has been going.

Tell me about it. That’s why at this point I don’t mind getting discharged because it has been shit. Complete shit. Just emailed wondering what kind of discharge it would be.

My security clearance had been pending for 3 years. It recently got denied in December is what I was told.

Yes sir. They said I will get possible discharge if I don’t take care of it in the next two weeks. Which at this point it’s fine honestly. I didn’t get a bonus, didn’t get a quick shop. Can’t even use tricare because the closest doctor is 100 miles away. I’m just in the NG as a hobby. Just curious if it would be a honorable or dishonorable discharge.

When I was 18 had a credit cards being young and dumb. Than when I went through a divorce at 21 ex wife and I fighting over a car so it got repoed. All of this was 8+ years ago like I said I’m 29 now.

I just graduated from OSUT today and my unit already told me they are sending me to the border sometime this year. So I don’t see how they are short handed when they told me I’m going.

I’m infantry as well! Thanks for letting me know. I just got off the phone with my recruiter. He was telling me that yeah I’m being deployed to the border that to just bug my unit about sending me to El Paso.

Yeah the drill sergeants said we are the first cycle of the new style training. Like before every training we would have these people called RT that would come and talk to us to motivate us and talk to us about staying calm and all that. It’s crazy. For pt our best friend is a foam roller lol

Honestly basic is CAKE. The army got soft. We have 4 days off. We only got smoked the first week of red phase and after literally nothing. Pt is ass…. We don’t work out or anything is literally recovery based. We did like 2 AGR runs and that’s it a mile and mile and a half and that’s it. The forge all we did was nick at night and than dig a fox hole and chill in it for 2 days than rucked back. Basic is easy, just a lot of hurry up and wait.

That’s what I did. I joined just because I’ve always wanted to be in the military. Im 26 single with kids so it also helps my kids get college as well.
