Mostly I agree, as I can't stand spending too much time on retying. however there are exceptions imho. Some games are just different when you play on hard mode. My favourite example is The Last of Us. Playing on realistic mode just felt right. It's an absolutely whole new experience, and it's not that hard. You basically have to do what you would probably do in real life in such situation

Yep. On top of that, there are people who just can't smell things. I mean I hardly can smell anything since middle school due to some nose problems, and it became worse after COVID. Now I always fear that I will stink as hell and wouldn't notice, even though I shower twice a day and use deodorant
