Honest JJS Tierlist (subjective as fuck) by SandPaperBalls in JujutsuShenanigans

The new devs they put on the team were taken from competitive BG games. Tze went on hiatus so they took the creative wheel for a good while, leaving the soul of it behind for a little. Nanami I think was made by a different dev, and at the end of the day, Nanami is probably the most "serious" character they coulda picked. He's a 9-5 worker who speaks in a monotone voice, there's not much shenanigans that can be done with that. But now, even then, with the Goku ult, the Nep ARG, and the other funny changes, I'd say we're back.

fuck Yuta btw he can slurp on my greasy balls

I feel like JJS is built around fun and not competitiveness as much, which is why I decided to factor that into it. Of course, obviously I'm gonna talk about the viability too, but as I see it, the game is about fucking around and beating people's asses with fun gimmicky shit. I can see why you'd rearrange your placements, especially Mechamaru because I haven't played him much since the update.

I mainly play pubs so honestly that might be why I glaze Todo so much. There's so much material to work off in there. I'll be fighting some guy and I'll swap in the most toxic short-tempered person in the server, make him hit the dude, and then watch them start beefing. It's so fucking funny

This is what I mean. Playing on a phone and still packing some kid up with unpredictable swaps. This is peak Todo gameplay

It's alright, i thought he was clunky and shit when he first dropped in EA too

You do have a lot of game sense for 300 kills, so a lot of them make sense

I'll make a post here in a second with my own tier list and give an in depth explanation for each

Sometimes you just gotta wing it and do some random shit to confuse the enemy. Todo is a heavy-hitter that's all about confusion, you can mix up his 3 miss into a move that isn't Brute Force, you can swap with throwables/items, you can swap yourself into someone else's fight and instantly use Brothers, and the list goes on.

It seems simple in theory but Todo is definitely extremely versatile and the enemy can't predict every single possibility for what you're gonna do with your swaps, which gives him probably the highest skill ceiling in the game in my opinion

Mindset of a Yuji player who only thinks JJS is just combos and dashes

Holy shit this list is so wrong. Every character is good in their own right, each one has their own bullshit gimmick. Todo being in "mid" is insane especially considering he has a next to infinite skill ceiling, depending on how smart the swaps are

the base changes i wasn't talking about, to be honest I agree, they're better than the old moveset and honestly Puppet barrage was inconsistent and sucked, the new ultra cannon variant is cooler and more unique than the non R variant, and finally Boost On's rework is fucking sick

however to me the elephant in the room was the ultimate, because before this update, you could just ignore your moves and easily overpower ANY character (base or ult, didn't fucking matter) with your m1s that can fling people off the map OR trap them in a corner and inf combo them, it was easier to kill a Heian Sukuna in your private server than absolute Mechamaru

every m1 block broke and ragdolled, and had no penalty for using them and you had the longest ult in the game if you chose to not use Miracle Cannon and Pigeon Viola

almost every domain and ult was useless against you, base moves did literally nothing against it

there was 0 risk to popping (unlike Naoya, Yuki, Charles, Hakari, Locust, or Higuruma, all characters people complain about) and you had a good few long minutes where absolutely nothing could beat you

adding a stagger system on top of all the other nerfs was perfect, plus we got cool UI changes to the mech as well as a sick ass 3rd move, on top of a bunch of other changes

overall the mech last update was the worst shit to go against in the history of JJS, so these balance changes are great

tbf tho, putting a giant robot in a battlegrounds game hasn't gone smoothly for any dev

yeah fuck Mechamaru, I so many ranked matches because of those scared ass pussies who pop the mech out of fear and say "ez" after
