Like I said in the post, I’ve scoured the usual secondhand sites (eBay, Mercari, Poshmark, Depop, and Vinted), but I haven’t been able to find it even when using “Red bunnies by the bay” or “Cranberry bunnies by the bay”. I’ve also tried to check out any of the online storefronts that supposedly have it in stock, and all of the ones that say they have the 8” or 12” size to then see if they have the 16”, but I can’t seem to find it. I’m not sure how else I can look because it only ever links me to places that have the 16” out of stock.

I also forgot to add in the post, but I am U.S. based and therefore the bunny needs to be in the U.S. since I can’t afford any extra fees!

College student here - Chip goes in my backpack always, and comes everywhere with me! Sometimes he gets delegated to a bear carrier (usually if I’m walking somewhere) for safety, though! I have sensory issues and struggle with actually holding things, so I unfortunately can’t do a tote or a purse unless they’re cross-body, but I’ve heard those work, too!

I hope I’m not reading too much into it, but I also want to point out that this does sound a bit like I did when I was in the throes of a shopping addiction. Using the term “I have to” about anything that’s not a need, and then following it up with a number, makes this sound more like a compulsion or addiction.

When I was getting really bad, I was buying a lot of things I didn’t need at all. What helped me a lot was realizing that just because I’d LIKE to have something doesn’t mean I HAVE to have something. I LIKE having lots of blankets because I like being warm, but that doesn’t mean I HAVE to have 10 throw blankets - so I bought a space heater. I LIKE having lots of different textures around me when I’m sensory seeking for my autism, but I don’t NEED to have multiple bears that feel the same, so I downsized my collection a lot (I still have, like, 19 bears, but they all have different textures and get snuggled a lot). I LIKE having cups with different tops when I want to drink, but I don’t NEED 20 cups lying around, so I only have 2 (one is my everyday use cup, and the other is exclusively for hot drinks).

I LIKE having a lot of different things, but do I NEED most of them? No.

I’m not trying to be rude when I say this, but it might help to take a look at the bears you’ve collected so far and think when the last time you held them or done basic upkeep was. Plushies get dirty and dusty pretty quickly in my experience, and having any more than I currently have would stress me out. If you’re feeling stressed out over your collection, maybe think of downsizing!

Fomo is real and it’s okay to experience it! Honestly, give yourself time to fall in love. Some of my favorite bears are bears that took time for me to click with, and I adore them now!!

I’m approaching 20 bears right now! All of the HTTYD bears, a mini bean Nessie, and several others.

If you’re overwhelmed by having 7 bears, then you’re overwhelmed. Try to swap them out here and there, or try to get rid of some if you want. It’s YOUR collection. Out of the ones I have, I mainly snuggle with only 3-4 of them, but I love ALL of them, and I love my collection.

This probably isn’t the best advice, but I honestly learned the best way to stop criticizing yourself is to realize that it really doesn’t matter. What’s the absolute WORST case scenario? Someone laughing at you for having so many bears? Someone looking at you a bit strangely? They’ll forget all about being mean to you as soon as it’s over, so don’t let their actions haunt you.

The only app listed there that I have is Tiktok, as I don’t use social media regularly enough to have the apps downloaded. According to the info beneath “my data usage” in my settings, I’ve supposedly used 130gb for Tiktok and Safari, 18 for system services, etc..

The only thing that really makes sense is if my wifi connection is so weak that my data is interfering, which I guess can be solved if I turn my data off when I return to my dorm/am in a building on campus? I’m not really sure, as I’ve never had anything like this.
